Here you will find Race for World First Manaforge Omega live feed coverage, with all the details and perspectives from the top teams.
Manaforge Omega Race to the World First has started!
RWF live coverage recap:
WoW Race to World First, or RWF, is a highly anticipated community-driven competition. Elite guilds from all over the globe contest for the honor of being the first to conquer the latest and most challenging raid content. The winner of a raid RWF is the guild who defeats the new raid’s final boss on Mythic difficulty.
Race to World First WoW kicks off whenever Blizzard releases a new raid, typically alongside a major expansion or patch. Blizzard doesn’t officially organize the RWF. It’s an event by the players for the players from players for players. Supported by sponsors and organizations, RWF has grown into a massive event that captivates thousands of fans to live streams.
WoW RWF begins when a new Mythic raid tier launches, often one week after the raid’s Normal and Heroic difficulties become available. It includes the following phases:
Guilds study the raid and bosses’ mechanics, developing strategies, practice rotations and coordinated actions. This is also the time to try out various class compositions and plan their gear upgrades so every team members is well-prepared for the battle ahead.
When a new RWF WoW raid launches, guilds have two main strategies. Some jump straight in, aiming to defeat as many bosses as possible and claim the boss’s World First titles. This doesn’t mean that they are the World First champion for that raid. For example, Melee Mechanic took Ulgrax’s World First, but Liquid won the Nerub’ar raid RWF since the latter was the first to defeat Queen Ansurek. Others focus on split runs to gear up, improving their chances of faster progress and an easier final boss kill in the Race to World First War Within.
No matter what happens, in the end, all guilds will eventually have to do split runs. This strategy is key to maximizing gear acquisition. Guilds form multiple raid groups to farm gear from lower difficulties, funneling the best items to core raiders to boost their power for progression in the main raid. However, splitting in WoW RtWF requires enormous resources and contributions from many players. That’s why the top guilds even have dedicated assistants to help with these splits.
With each boss, the guilds adapt their strategies based on what they learn from their own attempts and by observing their competitors. If a boss shows itself to be an unusual challenge, guilds may choose to fight it off-stream to keep their tactics hidden from others. In cases where a boss is too difficult to defeat, Blizzard may step in with fixes, nerfs, or buffs to help balance RtWF WoW gameplay.
The final boss is often the biggest challenge, holding guilds up for days. A guild might race through earlier bosses and reach the final one first, but if it proves too difficult, they can get stuck while other guilds catch up. In some cases, the guild that reached the final boss first couldn’t defeat it, and the World First title went to a later contender of WoW RWF 2025.
Since RWF WoW is community-driven rather than an official Blizzard event, it has faced various issues over time.
For each raid, there are many guilds that takes part in. Some of the most famous guild in the history of Race to World First WoW are:
Race to World First (RWF) is a community-driven event where the top guilds worldwide compete to be the first one to clear the latest raid on Mythic.
The current Race for World First WoW raid is Manaforge Omega. It is the Season 3 raid of The War Within and serves as the final end-game content of the expansion. Manaforge Omega is available since August 12 on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties.
The last Race to World First took place in Liberation of Undermine raid. Liquid was the winner.
Team Liquid is the top contender for victory, having maintained a strong winning streak in recent RWF events and claiming all previous wins in The War Within. Their main rivals are Team Echo and Team Method.
No one knows for sure, but it will likely take about a week for the first team to complete the Manaforge Omega raid on Mythic difficulty. Teams will spend countless hours gearing up through Splits, then face each boss hundreds of times while refining strategies and optimizing their party compositions.
“Splits” are organized runs where guilds use multiple raid groups to farm gear from lower difficulties for RtWF WoW. The goal is to give the best gear to core raiders, maximizing their power for progression in the main raid. This strategy helps give top guilds an edge in the competition.
Splits often require immense resources and contributions from numerous players. Top guilds even have dedicated assistants to help with these splits. Handling the exchange of valuable items, gear, and pooling resources, the assistants’ efforts can be worth millions in gold. That was why, following the Amirdrassil RWF, guilds like Echo, Liquid, and Method offered boosting services for Amirdrassil completion in exchange for gold, allowing them to repay the invaluable assistance they received during the race.
All the key details are collected here in the WowVendor RWF tracker tool, and we update the information as soon as new developments happen. You can also watch individual team streams on Twitch if you want to follow the RWF live and see the teams in action.
In Season 3 of The War Within, Manaforge Omega is currently the most challenging raid in WoW, requiring the highest item level gear: most of which isn’t yet accessible to the majority of players.
In terms of relative difficulty compared to previous raids at the time of their release, it’s still unclear just how tough Manaforge Omega is or how many pulls it will take to defeat the final boss. However, Dimensius certainly appears intimidating, being the largest boss in WoW history.
The current Race to World First is Manaforge Omega RWF, and it is still ongoing. The next one will take place in Season 1 of the upcoming WoW Midnight expansion, which is set to release in 2026.
That’s all for WoW World First Race. If you ever need assistance in conquering any raid, our WoW raid boost is always here to help!
