The Prismatic Snapdragon mount is a reward from a daily quest chain introduced in patch 11.0.7 of War Within expansion. It is quite a unique mount as it can change its coloration with a special consumable Snapdragon Treat that comes in different variations. The process takes several days to complete, as you’ll be given a new quest each day for a total of ten days. You can’t finish the chain in one go, as you must wait for the daily reset to continue.

How to get Prismatic Snapdragon mount guide
The Prismatic Snapdragon is a mount obtained through a daily quest chain introduced in patch 11.0.7. To get it, you’ll need to complete a series of quests given by a Snapdragon runt, starting with feeding it food and gradually progressing through various tasks that require collecting different types of meat from beasts on the Siren Isle.
Over several days, the Snapdragon runt evolves from a starving runt to a vibrant, multi-colored Prismatic Snapdragon. The quest chain spans multiple days, with a new task available each day after the daily reset, so you’ll need to log in daily to complete the quests and eventually receive the mount.
We highly recommend players to get the TomTom addon, which will help you orient yourself better on Siren Isle.
Day 1: A Lifeline
To start, visit the Starving Snapdragon Runt at /way 70.98, 48.63 in the main hub of Siren Isle to get A Lifeline quest. The runt is asking for food, and you’ll find Snapdragon Trainer Zexel Fingersnap nearby who provides the food needed. Hand in the quest, and the runt will transform into a Growing Snapdragon Runt.
Day 2: Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon
The Growing Snapdragon Runt will give you a quest titled Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon. For this day, you’ll need to collect 5 Mystery Meat that drops from any beast creature on the Isle of Siren. Feed the meat to the runt, and you’re done for the day.
Day 3: Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon
On Day 3, you’ll receive the same Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon quest from the Growing Snapdragon Runt. Again, collect 5 Mystery Meat from any beast creature on the Isle of Siren, feed it to the runt, and you’re set for the day.
Day 4: Snap to It
On Day 4, the quest changes to Snap to It. You’ll need to gather 5 Meaty Rations from pirate, vrykul, or naga mobs, depending on which tribe is currently active on the Isle. These drop at a high rate, so just kill mobs in the area. Once you’ve gathered the rations, feed them to the runt, and it will transform into a Maturing Prismatic Snapdragon (changing color from green to purple).
Day 5: Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon
For Day 5, the Maturing Prismatic Snapdragon will give you another Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon quest. As you can see, this quest is repetitive and you need to do it again, in fact, you will do this quest even more following next days.
Day 6: Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon
On Day 6, you’ll once again receive the Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon quest from the Maturing Prismatic Snapdragon.
Day 7: Temper Like a Tempest
On Day 7, the quest shifts to Temper Like a Tempest. You’ll need to collect 5 Storminfused Mystery Meat that drops from beast creatures during the storm version of the isle. The main camp has crabs both inside and outside, which are great for gathering the required items quickly. Feed the runt and you’re done for the day.
Day 8: Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon
Day 8 will feature the Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon quest from the Maturing Prismatic Snapdragon again. This time, the amount of Mystery Meat required increases to 8. Continue farming creatures on the Isle of Siren (crabs are still efficient) and feed the runt the meat to complete the quest for the day.
Day 9: Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon
On Day 9, you’ll once again get the Hungry, Hungry Snapdragon quest from the Maturing Prismatic Snapdragon. Repeat Day 8. Continue farming creatures on the Isle of Siren to complete the quest.
Day 10: A Loyal Friend
The final quest for the Prismatic Snapdragon mount is A Loyal Friend, which will finally award you a new mount (and friend). It also awards a special consumable that changes your Prismatic Snapdragon color — Teal Snapdragon Treat.
Important notes on getting Prismatic Snapdragon mount:
- Daily Reset: You can only complete one quest per day, so be sure to check back each day for your next task.
- Missing a Day: If you miss a day, you won’t accumulate progress, and you can still only complete one quest per day.
- Quest Locations: The quests take place on Siren Isle, sometimes quests require storm events to happen.
Prismatic Snapdragon mount variations
To change the Prismatic Snapdragon mount color you will need a Snapdragon Treat which comes in many variations. Some of the treats can be easily purchased or found.
