Players’ initial reactions
The announcement has sparked a range of reactions from the community. Many players are thrilled about the concept, seeing it as a creative and dynamic way to engage with the game world. Racing through the skies of Undermine with Goblin ingenuity has been hailed as a fresh and exciting activity.
Some players are already speculating about possibly turning the Goblin Jet Pack into a permanent flying mount. The idea of zipping across Azeroth in Goblin style has sparked imaginations, with many calling for the feature to be expanded beyond the race itself.
However, there’s also a degree of skepticism. Some have questioned the mechanics of the jet pack, noting that its current animation doesn’t fully capture the high-speed thrills they were expecting. Others worry that the races lack meaningful rewards or challenges, potentially reducing their long-term appeal.
When can players join the fun?
The release date for Undermine and its Skyrocket Races has yet to be confirmed, but players are already excited. With the current retail roadmap, we speculate that the Undermine(d) update will be released later in winter.
Patch 11.1 aims to bring a mix of innovation and nostalgia, and the Goblins are set to take center stage with their explosive flair. Whether you’re excited to race or skeptical of the mechanics, one thing’s for sure— Undermine will be the talk of Azeroth. For a more detailed look at Undermine, read Patch 11.1 overview.
