The War Within: New Elite PvP Armored Gargoyles Datamined
Recently, enthusiasts have datamined the new elite PvP Armored Gargoyles for The War Within. Let’s take a closer look.
Apparently, in The War Within, players can acquire the Gold Armored Fel Bat Gladiator Mount and the Silver Armored Fel Bat Gladiator Mount in the future Seasons. At the moment of writing, it is unfortunately not known what is required to obtain the bats, but they are supposed to be the rewards for PvP achievements.
The new elite PvP Armored Gargoyles are reminiscent of another Venthyr mount from Shadowlands named Obsidian Gravewing. You can still purchase it from Chachi the Artiste with 7,500 Reservoir Anima if interested. Before doing it, ensure your Renown is level 70.
As an overall opinion, the datamined mounts ooze a true Warlords of Draenor aura. It is not bad, but they are an acquired taste, as the addon itself was controversial and bleak back then.
This is why the community thinks that Shadowlands and Dragonflight gladiator mounts are way better than the new models we have shown in the article. There is also an opinion that the War-Torn Reins of the Undercity Plaguebat for Horde has a better and prettier model.
