The Midsummer Fire Festival runs from June 21 to July 5, 2025. Alongside the scythes, you’ll find new cosmetic transmogs and achievements. So, let’s take a look at what’s waiting ahead!
Midsummer Fire Festival Scythes
Two new scythe weapons are here with the Midsummer Fire Festival in WoW Patch 11.1.7. They are Rethfuras, Scorched Scythe of Cinders and Glazfuris, Scythe of the Deep Chill. Rethfuras features a fiery orange design, while Glazfuris has a chilling blue appearance. Both weapons are available in staff version for casters and polearm version for melee classes.
Also, if you’re a fan of scythes, you won’t want to miss out on the Frostscythe of Lord Ahune. This icy-themed weapon drops from Ahune, the seasonal boss of the Midsummer Fire Festival, and it’s only available during the event.
