The new expansion is finally here, and we’re excited to share a list of all 11 The War Within professions.
Here’s a list of the eight crafting and three gathering professions, each offering unique bonuses to enhance your character’s power and stats, as well as the ability to craft various items and gear for personal use or sale at the Auction House, providing a steady income:
Profession changes in The War Within
In The War Within, Blizzard has revamped professions with some key changes. The developers have introduced a new resource called Concentration, which refills automatically over time. It allows you to guarantee the next level of quality of an item, the cost of which depends on how far you are from crafting it naturally.
The Inspiration stat has been replaced by Ingenuity, which now gives you a 50% to 100% chance (based on your profession talents) to retain your Concentration after using it.
Most professions have seen talent updates, but you’ll still find specializations similar to those in Dragonflight for each gear slot and armor type. There are also talents focused on maximizing the production and quality of potions and flasks (replacing the old phials).
Crafting Orders remain largely unchanged, but you’ll now receive Personal Crafting Orders. Completing these can earn you Profession Knowledge, recipes, extra skill points, crafting materials, and more. These Orders replace the old mission tables and Profession Knowledge farming methods, but they may require you to provide materials or use Concentration, which could result in a loss of gold.
