WotLK Classic: Icecrown Citadel Arrives on October 12
Blizzard has unveiled an exciting update for Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Phase 4 is on the way and set to hit the screen on October 10. Following closely, the highly anticipated Icecrown Citadel will open its gates to players on October 12, 2023.
Phase 4
Phase 4 ushers in a wave of exhilarating features. An adrenaline-pumping adventure awaits with three fresh dungeons:
- Forge of Souls
- Pit of Saron
- Halls of Reflection
And let’s not forget the eagerly awaited arrival of Titan Rune Dungeons: Defense Protocol Gamma.
As for quality-of-life improvements, the much-debated Random Dungeon Finder is making its entrance in Phase 4. Controversies surrounding its inclusion are ongoing. However, players can expect to save up their time and effort in finding a dungeon to farm. Also, the new Collections User Interface will also come into the limelight.
Icecrown Citadel
Brace yourself, heroes of Azeroth. It’s time to return to one of the most prominent raids of all time in World of Warcraft. The massive, imposing fortress, named Icecrown Citadel, located in the icy continent of Northrend will swing its gates open this October 12. Featuring 12 encounters spread across five wings, with the Lich King Arthas as the final boss, the pinnacle of end-game content is back to send chills down your spine.
Adventurers can brave this formidable raid in either the demanding Heroic mode or the standard Normal mode. Moreover, an epic journey awaits for Death Knights, Paladins, and Warriors. Now is the opportune moment to set forth on the legendary path of the Shadowmourne quest chain and become the master of the fabled two-handed axe.
