New World Event: SoD Phase 4 Blackrock Eruption guide

SoD Phase 1 introduced Ashenvale, Phase 2 brought along Stranglethorn, and Phase 3 featured Nightmare Incursions. Now, with Phase 4, we’re having Blackrock Eruption.
Blizzard emphasizes that this event is designed to be an optional and enjoyable activity for players. They hope that players can supplement their endgame progression with minimal daily time investment while reliving some of the iconic battles in Blackrock Mountain:
“This content is meant to be a lightweight optional activity players can participate in to supplement endgame reputation gain and gain a bit of gold with very modest daily investment of time, as well as to give us a reason to recreate some of the epic battles that we all remember so well inside of Blackrock Mountain (as if we needed a reason!).”

What is SoD Phase 4 Blackrock Eruption
SoD Phase 4 Blackrock Eruption is the new World Event that will take place in Searing Gorge. In the PTR development notes, Blizzard also noted that there are plans to expand these features to the Burning Steppes in future updates as well. As of the current build, adventurers can look forward to new daily quests at Thorium Point.
Blackrock Eruption event cooldown
Blackrock Eruption brings forth additional spawns and environmental hazards in the mentioned locations every two hours starting at midnight. The new SoD Phase 4 event lasts 60 minutes, during which you can find new dailies in Searing Gorge.
SoD Phase 4 Blackrock Eruption buffs and aura
Eruption! buff
Those in Searing Gorge or Burning Steppes won’t gain any honor from World PvP while the event is active because of the Eruption! buff. After all, you are “setting aside your petty squabbles to focus on defeating the forces of the Firelord.”
Hot Blooded buff
Players inside Blackrock Mountain will enjoy a 300% boost in honor gained by PvP kills thanks to the Hot Blooded buff.
Drained of Blood aura
Existing PvP events in Blackrock Mountain will give you the Drained of Blood aura.

SoD Phase 4 new World Event offers players opportunities to earn 150 to 200 reputation with the Thorium Brotherhood and Hydraxian Waterlords by completing daily quests related to them. Of course, there will be gold and honor as well.
