SoD introduces a wealth of exciting features, offering novel ways to engage with the World of Warcraft. Most recently, Hunter players have discovered they can tame wyverns and turn them into combat pets. Said feature was previously exclusive to retail WoW. After all, these creatures weren’t tamable until the arrival of the Legion expansion.

In retail WoW, wyverns belong to the Feathermane family. However, in WoW Classic SoD, they are classified as Wind Serpents. Consequently, they possess the Lightning Breath ability. They can also learn to Bite. But wyverns lack Natural Abilities. And besides what has been mentioned above, they have nothing else to add to their arsenal. This makes it less likely for them to be the best choice for Hunters in raids and PvP. Nevertheless, it’s still a cool pet to have in your collection. So, below, you will find the step-by-step guide on how to get yourself a wyvern pet in WoW Classic Season of Discovery.

Hi Nogrod! 😊

Since the quest is bugged, make sure you wait until Jixo is standing beside the hut to speak to him. If he is out taming a Wyvern already and you speak to him while he is stunned, you will turn in the quest, lose your quest items, and won’t be able to proceed πŸ˜”

Also you can try to relog, abandon the quest, and the NPC will respawn eventually and you can pick it back up 😊

And let’s hope that Bliz will fix this soon πŸ˜‚
