SoD Gnomeregan Gives Out the Rarest Mount in WoW

With the arrival of SoD Phase 2 and the Gnomeregan raid, players have discovered that they can now obtain the rarest mount in WoW.

What do you think the rarest mount in WoW is? The Invincible’s Reins? Ashes of Al’ar? Mimiron’s Head? Shackled Ur’zul? or perhaps another name you may suggest in the comments? No matter how low their drop rates are, you can still get them through endless grinding or simply purchasing them from WowVendor’s shop. And yet, until recently, there was one mount that no one could get, no matter what. And it’s the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider.

Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider: The Rarest Mount in WoW

Throughout WoW’s history, only one single account had ever possessed the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider. It all happened during the Vanilla era. Back then, a player accidentally deleted their standard Mechanostrider mount. They then submitted a ticket in the hope of getting their mount back. And to their, and every other WoW player’s surprise, the Game Master who handled said ticket mistakenly granted the player the unobtainable Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider. Luckily for the player, Blizzard never took the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider from their account. And so, until now, they were the only one who ever had the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider in their collection.

However, with Season of Discovery come countless possibilities. Among them is the chance to get the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider from SoD Phase 2 Gnomeregan. This unique mount now drops from Mekgineer Thermaplugg, the final boss in the latest raid of Season of Discovery. So, if you fancy this mount, now is a great time to give the raid a try and add it to your collection.
