Blizzard has recently announced the WoW Roadmap 2024, outlining plans for both the Retail and Classic versions of the game. Among the exhilarating novelties are plans for Season of Discovery’s future. Following the current initial phase, four subsequent ones are on the horizon.

In Phase 2 of WoW Classic’s Season of Discovery, you can collect one to three Skill Books for each class to unlock additional abilities, passive skills, or enhancements for existing abilities. Release Date and Level Cap

Season of Discovery Phase 1 release date is November 30, 2023.

The level cap is set to 25.

Dungeons and Raid

Available dungeons in Season of Discovery Phase 1:

• Ragefire Chasm: Minimum level: 10. Recommended level: 15-25.
• Wailing Caverns: Minimum level: 10. Recommended level: 17-27.
• The Deadmines: Minimum level: 10. Recommended level: 15-25.
• Shadowfang Keep: Minimum level: 14. Recommended level: 22-30.
• The Stockade: Minimum level: 15. Recommended level: 22-32.
• Scarlet Monastery: Minimum level: 21. Recommended level: 26-45.
• Razorfen Kraul: Minimum level: 25. Recommended level: 32-42.

New Factions

There are two new factions in Season of Discovery Phase 1 that directly tie to the Waylaid Supplies:

• Azeroth Commerce Authority (ACA)
• Durotar Supply and Logistics (DS&L)

PvP Zone

Season of Discovery Phase 1’s PvP Zone is Ashenvale. Here, there are new Enemy Camps with NPCs to defend or attack. Participants stand to gain Reputation with the Warsong Outriders or Silverwing Sentinels.

You can purchase the Ashenvale exclusive mount once you reach Friendly with:

• The Warsong Outriders: You will be able to purchase Trainee’s Outrider Wolf for 10 gold.
• The Silverwing Sentinels: You will be able to purchase Trainee’s Sentinel Nightsaber for 10 gold.

Winning the Ashenvale World PvP Event rewards you with an On-Use Item that offers a World Buff.

Season of Discovery Guide: Phase 2

Release Date and Level Cap

Season of Discovery Phase 2 release date is February 8, 2024. The new level cap is set to 40.

Available dungeons in Season of Discovery Phase 2:

• Ragefire Chasm: Minimum Level: 10. Recommended Level: 15-25
• Wailing Caverns: Minimum Level: 10. Recommended Level: 17-27
• The Deadmines: Minimum Level: 10. Recommended Level: 15-25
• Shadowfang Keep: Minimum Level: 14. Recommended Level: 22-30
• The Stockade: Minimum Level: 15. Recommended Level: 22-32
• Scarlet Monastery: Minimum Level: 21. Recommended Level: 26-45

• The Gnomeregan raid will be a 10-man instance, and it will be easy:
  • Location: Dun Morogh
  • Level required: 40
  • Raid size: 10
  • Bosses: 6

Adjustments will be made to the five existing bosses and a new boss for you to test your mettle. Other than that, there will be new loot and items available, which we have detailed in the Gnomeregan raid loot table.

PvP Zone

Season of Discovery Phase 2’s PvP Zone is Stranglethorn Vale. As promised by Blizzard, it’s a completely different experience from Ashenvale. There won’t be PvP objectives in Stranglethorn Vale’s Blood Moon. However, you will earn currency for defeating other players. Beware of the Chosen of the Blood Loa. They will put an end to anyone who opposes them. While teaming up enhances survival odds, it comes with penalties for all members. Other News and Updates

Season of Discovery Phase 2 will bring along:

• New Runes.
• GDKP runs will be banned.
• 50% Exp buff from level 1 to 25.
• Phase 2 PvP events will happen every three hours and last for 30 minutes. This applies to both Stranglethorn and Ashenvale.
• A new tech to combat botting.
• Waylaid Supplies stack up to 12.
• 100% Exp buff from level 1 to 39.

Season of Discovery Guide: Phase 3

Release Date and Level Cap

Season of Discovery Phase 3 release date is on April 4, 2024.

The level cap is set to 50.

Season of Discovery Guide: Phase 4

Season of Discovery Phase 4 is the first phase that has ever received a PTR in this mode.

Release Date and Level Cap

Season of Discovery Phase 4 release date is July 11, 2024. The level cap is set to 60.
