Get New SoD Phase 3 Runes from the Emerald Wardens
Players have discovered that they can now get new SoD Phase 3 runes from the Emerald Wardens just by reaching Friendly reputation with them.
The Emerald Wardens is the new faction that has just arrived in SoD Phase 3. Upon reaching Friendly, Honored, Revered, and Exalted status with them, a plethora of rewards await. These include armor, weapons, trinkets, consumables, and various other items. We have included a link to the complete list of rewards at the end of this article, so be sure to check it out!
New SoD Phase 3 Runes from The Emerald Wardens
Among the array of rewards provided by the Emerald Wardens, you’ll discover a unique rune designed specifically for your class once you reach Friendly with them:
- Druid: Rune of Bloodshed (Gore) — Striking a target with Lacerate, Swipe, or Maul has a 15% chance to reset the cooldown on Mangle (Bear) and grant 10 Rage. Striking a target with Mangle (Cat) or Shred has a 5% chance to reset the cooldown on Tiger’s Fury.(Proc chance: 15%, 100ms cooldown)
- Hunter: Rune of Detonation (T.N.T.) — Increases the damage done by Explosive Shot and all your damaging traps by 10%.
- Mage: Spell Notes: Molten Armor (Molten Armor) — Causes 12.508 Fire damage when hit, increases your spell critical strike chance by 5%, and reduces the chance you are critically hit by 5%. Only one type of Armor spell can be active on the Mage at any time. Lasts 30 min.
- Paladin: Rune of the Hammer (Improved Hammer of Wrath) — Hammer of Wrath is now instant and the cooldown on Hammer of Wrath is reset each time it damages an enemy below 10% health.
- Priest: Nihilist Epiphany (Void Zone) — Summons a void zone in the target area that deals 70.823 Shadow damage to enemies that stand within it every second for 10 sec.
- Rogue: Rune of Alacrity (Cut to the Chase) — Your Eviscerate and Envenom abilities refresh either your Slice and Dice or your Blade Dance duration to its 5 combo point maximum. If both are active, only the one with shortest remaining duration will be refreshed.
- Shaman: Rune of Burn (Burn) — Your Flame Shock now strikes up to 3 targets.
- Warlock: Rune of Affliction (Unstable Affliction) — Shadow energy slowly destroys the target, causing 358.417 damage over 15 sec. In addition, if the Unstable Affliction is dispelled it will cause 645.151 damage to the dispeller and silence them for 5 sec. Only one Unstable Affliction or Immolate per Warlock can be active on any one target.
- Warrior: Rune of the Protector (Shield Mastery) — Increases all physical damage you deal by 10% while you have a shield equipped, and reduces the duration of all Disarm effects used against you by 50%. This does not stack with other Disarm duration reducing effects.
To increase your reputation with the Emerald Wardens, you need to complete Nightmare Incursions quests. You can obtain these missions by speaking with the Field Captains located in Duskwood, Ashenvale, Feralas, and Hinterlands. Make sure that your character’s level is appropriate for the tasks ahead. For Duskwood, you need to be at level 25. For Ashenvale, your character’s level must be at least 40. Meanwhile, Feralas and Hinterlands require level 50.
