Get Bloodstained Commendations with Massacre Coins by July 9
In a recent X/ Twitter post, Josh Greenfield shared that players still have time to get Bloodstained Commendations with Massacre Coins before Blizzard launches a new Patch on July 9.
On July 7, the Senior Game Producer said that if you have been considering acquiring Bloodstained Commendations, now is the ideal time. Once Patch 1.15.3 is released, these Commendations will be temporarily unavailable.
Bloodstained Commendations are special items you can buy from Mai’zin in Stranglethorn, at coordinates [31.2, 48.4], and earn 250 honor. Initially, you could purchase them by exchanging 1x Silver Massacre Coin, but with Phase 4 and the level cap increasing to 60 on July 11, you can now get these Commendations using the new currency, 25x Copper Slaughter Coins, from the same vendor.
Additionally, you do not have to worry if you only buy Arathi Basin’s reputation with these Coins. After Tuesday, it can be purchased with Massacre Coins, and the only thing that changes is Bloodstained Commendations, Greenfield says.
While Blizzard will make a new blue post about these changes on July 8 in the morning, the Senior Game Producer felt it was essential to keep other players informed so they could buy everything they wanted before new content arrived. Although you still have enough time, since time is often like sand slipping through your fingers, remember to buy them until WoW Classic servers go down for maintenance.
