• Smoldering Essence: Gathered using the Runestaff of Nordrassil on corpses in the Firelands raid.
• Heart of Flame: Looted from Ragnaros in the Firelands raid.

Cataclysm Classic Firelands mounts

The Firelands raid bosses, Ragnaros and Alysrazor, offer two mounts. The Smoldering Egg of Millagazor drops from Ragnaros on both Normal and Heroic difficulties and 10– and 25–player raid sizes. On Heroic difficulty, it’s a 100% drop. The second mount, Flametalon of Alysrazor is quite a rare drop, but it can be obtained on any difficulty and raid size, according to Blizzard.
