Marvel Rivals Season 1.5: Dracula’s Castle in Central Park



A new battlefield emerges in the war against Dracula—Dracula’s Castle in Central Park. When February 21 Marvel Rivals Season 1.5 update rolls around, players will enter the heart of darkness, navigating a twisted, gothic stronghold filled with secrets and supernatural threats. Squirrel Girl should be expecting some unique interactions on the map as the goal of the map will revolve around saving Ratatoskr a squirrel God of Yggdrasill.
Marvel Rivals Season 1.5 balance updates

Marvel Rivals Season 1.5 will feature some balance changes. Most of these changes were expected as the community was getting frustrated with the meta.

Meta Adjustments & Hero Balance
- Triple Strategist Meta Nerf – The balance team has targeted the overpowered triple Strategist composition, increasing ultimate costs for several Strategists, with Cloak and Dagger receiving a particular nerf.
- Shield Vanguards adjustments – Two powerful shield-based Vanguards, Magneto and Doctor Strange, have been nerfed to allow other Vanguards to shine.
- Storm & Moon Knight nerfs – Both heroes will receive tuning changes to bring them in line with the rest of the roster.
- New Balance Patch System – While major balance updates will continue to arrive twice per season, the dev team may now introduce small balance adjustments for urgent cases.
Season 1.5 general changes

Excess Chrono Tokens conversion
With the season ending, any unused Chrono Tokens that players couldn’t exchange for rewards will now be converted into in-game currency (Units), ensuring that no effort goes to waste. This is one of the best announcements for the community of Marvel Rivals, ensuring that the Battle Pass will be even more valuable asset into the game,
Ranked Mode privacy update
In a move aimed at preventing targeted bans in ranked matches, players will now have the option to hide their in-game name during ranked play. This change will be especially beneficial for high-skill players specializing in specific heroes.
Blade teaser

Probably the sweetest announce is Blade that was shown in Central Park map overview video. We don’t know exactly what he is capable of, but we should expect a Duelist hero being able to destroy vampire enemies (Some anti-heal ability?). We will be monitoring news regarding Blade in Marvel Rivals.
