In order to accomplish this task, individuals must acquire Silver Leaves, Armor Alloy and Incandescent Ingots. If you wish to get a full armor set, you will require approximately 350 Silver Leaves, 500 Armor Alloy, and some amount of Incandescent Ingots. These materials can be obtained through completing main Solstice activity and farming Forge bounties. Welcome to the Bonfire Bash! What does this activity offer? Well, you’ll have to do the following:

• Clear the point from enemies until the local mini-boss appears
• Beat mini-boss, and it will drop three Orbs
• Quickly throw them into the Bonfire since they can only lie on the ground for 10 seconds
• After you deposit 10/20 orbs, clear a specific zone from Taken
• If you manage to deposit 30 Orbs or time runs out, a Taken Boss will appear, which must be destroyed to complete the activity and receive rewards

That’s all that will happen in this activity. But why even participate in it during Destiny 2 Solstice? The following sections will answer this question.

How to get Solstice armor in Destiny 2?

In 2024, Bungie decided to change the usual way of obtaining armor in Solstice. Now, players must make it themselves using the Solstice Forge, which is given out by Eva Levante in the Tower. To do this, they will have to farm resources such as Silver Leaves, Alloys and Incandescent Ingots. These will be discussed later.

How to get Silver Leaves in Solstice 2024?

Silver Leaves are the standard event currency, which can be earned basically in any activity. How to get Incandescent Ingots in Solstice 2024?

The final step to obtaining Glow on Legendary Solstice Armor (Sublime armor) is completing the Incandescence quest, which appears after you’ve forged the associated armor type within the Solstice Forge and earned enough currency. In this quest, you simply need to stoke the bonfire within the Bonfire Bash activity, after which you will receive Incandescent Ingots necessary for obtaining Glow

What’s an event without unique weapons available only for three weeks a year? We’ve prepared a brief analysis of each weapon and the desired rolls for them, helping you decide whether they’re worth the grind. 

It’s worth noting that all Destiny 2 Solstice weapons include a unique Origin Trait named Dream Work. To operate it, you’ll need at least one teammate, as assists or assisted Final Blows refill 66% of the Magazine, and it can be overflowed. It’s a delightful bonus, although it might only sometimes be handy. By the way, in Solstice 2024, you can get weapons with additional perks by completing Solstice Forgebounties after you’ve forged an entire set of armor for your current class.

Crowning Duologue, rocket launcher

• Must-have PvE perks:
  •  Reconstruction, Auto-Loading Holster

Crowning Duologue was considered the worst Rocket Launcher, but now the situation is entirely different. This year, Bungie decided to give it some of the best perks it could possibly have: Reconstruction, Auto-Loading Holster, Bait and Switch, and Bipod. Its only downside is the Precision Frame, but this archetype has been buffed, and now, in addition to built-in target acquisition, it has bonus reserves and slightly improved damage. We would recommend farming Crowning Duologue in the first place, since you will not find a second such Strand Rocket.

Compass Rose, shotgun

• Must-have PvP perks:
  • Threat Detector, Slideshot, Slickdraw
  • Opening Shot

Compass Rose also shone with new colors after the perk pool refresh this year, becoming one of the best Shotguns for PvP. In the third column, you have three excellent perks to choose from:

• Slideshot for improved Range after Sliding
• Slickdraw for permanent 100 Handling
• Threat Detector for increased Handling when enemies are nearby

In the other column, there is only one choice, namely Opening Shot. This perk is extremely useful for shotguns due to the increased range, allowing Compass Rose to have a 100 range with properly chosen stats.

Something New, hand cannon

• Must-have PvE perks:
  • Demolitionist
  • Headstone, Frenzy
• Must-have PvP perks:
  • To the Pain, Elemental Capacitor, Snapshot Sights 
  • Precision Instrument

Something New also boasts some decent perks that might make this Hand Cannon popular in all Game Modes.

Let’s start with PvE, where stasis lovers will be very interested in the Demolitionist + Headstone combo. Although this is an excellent roll, it is unlikely to compete with Bold Endings, as the Heavy Burst Archetype has much more damage than Aggressive.

In PvP, Something New can easily appeal to many players, as its closest equivalent, Crimil’s Dagger, can only be obtained in Iron Banner. In the fourth column, the best perk is undoubtedly Precision Instrument, allowing you to takedown any Resilience Guardian with two crits and one body shot. In the third column, the choice is more intriguing with the To the Pain perk, which can significantly increase Handling and Aim Assistance simply by taking damage. Elemental Capacitor is also good, but only with Arc/Void Super for the Handling/Stability bonus.

Fortunate Star, bow

• Must-have PvE perks:
  • Repulsor Brace, Archer’s Tempo, Successful Warm-Up
  • Destabilizing Rounds, Archer’s Gambit, Kill Clip, Precision Instrument, Golden Tricorn

Finally, let’s move on to the newcomer, namely the new Fortunate Star, Void Lightweight Bow in the Solstice event for Destiny 2. In PvE, it has quite a few good Perks, and you will even find a Void Combination like Repulsor Brace+Destabilizing Rounds. Of course, the main question is, “Do I need a Fortunate Star at all?” and the answer to this question is probably no rather than yes. Although it has many interesting perks, it is still a Lightweight Bow with small DPS in PvE and low Accuracy in PvP. It is much better to focus on Refreshed Crowning Duologue or Compass Rose, as they have a better chance of securing a place in the modern meta.

Solstice Event Card and Title

Traditionally, players can level up an Event Card that features free rewards and also earns a unique Solstice seal titled “Flamekeeper.” To achieve this, you’ll need to complete various Challenges.

• Lightning the Forge: Complete the Solstice Forge bounty in Destiny 2
• Good Ignite: Defeat 15 Ignition Carriers
• Torch the Taken: Destroy 15 Prismatic Takens
• Fuel for the Fire I, II, III: Stoke 35/70/100 flames in the Bonfire Bash (Fuel for the Fire emblem as a Tier 1 reward and A Fair Wind Ship as a Tier 3 reward)
