Bungie reworked one of the oldest strikes in the game, Exodus Crash. Now, it has some differences that not all know, although we have studied everything ourselves and are ready to tell you what exactly you can expect from the reworked Exodus Crash in Destiny 2. In this guide, you will learn all the info about Exodus Crash, the best weapons to equip, and builds to use on your class. Sit back comfortably, and let’s begin!

Best weapons for Exodus Crash Grandmaster NF

One of the most crucial things on how to prepare for the Exodus Crash Grandmaster nightfall is to pick useful guns. Exodus Crash has significantly more Overload Champions than Barriers, making it necessary to have excellent weapons against them. Due to Artifact mods, Sunshot will be a decent weapon, especially when paired with Critical Anomaly with Chill Clip. If you play more aggressively, then Arc Conductor Wave Frame Ergo Sum will be quite good, especially considering how many Fallen are in this strike. The good old combination of Outbreak Perfected with Indebted Kindness will also be very good if your build already stuns Overload Champs.

Best builds for Exodus Crash nightfall

Of course, let’s not forget to equip the best loadout for Exodus Crash Grandmaster nightfall. Next up, we will recommend builds for each class!

Warlock

Prismatic Turret Warlock has been the most popular build for this class for two months, and it performs excellently in this strike, thanks to the Slow debuff. The Healing Turret build will also be good because ensuring your team’s survival is very important in GMs.

Titan

Consecration Prismatic Titan has long been established as the best Aggressive build for GM, allowing some to complete Exodus Crash in just 6 minutes. If this type of build isn’t for you, try Hazardous Propulsion, which deals decent damage even in GM content.

Hunter

Hunters with Still Hunt will be extremely useful for dealing with Burst Damage to Champs or bosses, especially with Artifact mods. A good alternative is the classic Lucky Pants with Warden’s Law, which will also allow you to stun Overload Champions. If you want to play more aggressively, Prismatic Hunter with Spirit of Inmost Light and Cyrtarachne will provide you with Huge DR and Ability Spam. These Hunter builds could be your key on how to beat Exodus Crash GM Nightfall in Destiny 2.

How to complete Exodus Crash GM nightfall: encounters guide

At the very beginning of D2 Exodus Crash GM Nightfall, you’ll encounter a couple of Vex with a Barrier Champ, which can be eliminated without problems. After that, you will have to travel quite a distance, with Fallen obstructing your path. Of course, you can walk the whole way, but it can be even more dangerous than driving the whole way on a Sparrow or Skimmer. Ultimately, you are going to encounter two Duskfield Shanks and an Overload Champ, which are relatively easy to bypass.

Destiny 2 Exodus Crash guide

After you ascend, you will be attacked by a Barrier Champ, Brig, and some other enemies attacking from different sides. One of our Destiny 2 Exodus Crash nightfall tips is to focus on the Champion, as it provides immunity to nearby enemies, which can catch you off guard. Once you deal with all the enemies, a Vex Hydra will spawn, and after its defeat, an Arc Sphere will drop, necessary for moving forward. In the corridors leading to the next encounter, you will encounter Overload and Barrier Champions with a couple of traps, so be alert.

The room with plate defense can cause several wipes due to the number of explosive shanks, bosses, and Champions. At the beginning, you will encounter two Overload Champs that should be eliminated as quickly as possible. During the process, Barrier Champs, Shanks, and more Overloads will attack you, which must be killed as quickly as possible. Additionally, when reaching 50% and 100% progress, Stasis Fallen bosses will appear in the arena, posing a huge threat. If you feel that you can’t kill the mobs in time, retreat back to hide from enemy projectiles.

Exodus Crash last boss

After passing this difficult Exodus Crash nightfall encounter, you’ll have to acquire three Arc Spheres again, which drop from marked Barrier Hobgoblin, Overload Minotaur, and Hydra. After depositing all the charges, you will receive a Scorch Cannon, which is necessary to remove the barrier. Traveling to the following location, you must neutralize Walker and Barrier Champion. We recommend doing this from a long distance, as the Spider Tank deals massive damage and can easily annihilate even a Guardian in Super.

After passing through a dark room with a Barrier Champion, you’ll finally reach the final Exodus Crash boss encounter. To launch it, you will need to kill all Explosive and Duskfield Shanks in the arena, after which Pykis will appear. Simultaneously, more Shanks will appear in the arena, interfering with your fight against the boss. Once Pykis’s HP reaches 50%, he will disappear, and instead, an Overload Minotaur and Barrier Hobgoblin with some enemies will spawn. After depositing another Arc Charge, which drops from Elite Hydra, the boss will appear for the last time in the arena along with another wave of enemies. Pykis has a relatively low amount of health, so you can easily kill the boss immediately after his return.
