Edge of Fate campaign tips and tricks

Here are some general tips and tricks for completing the Edge of Fate campaign, whether on Legendary or Normal difficulty. Instead of focusing on specific missions or puzzles, we’ll cover broader concepts and general mechanics across Kepler.
- Keep an eye out for Matterspark stations, which generally look like the example shown above. They can be out in the open, but are often hidden behind doors, enemies, or textures.
- Near most Matterspark stations, you’ll find a tunnel that allows travel in Matterspark form. If you discover a tunnel first, it usually means a Matterspark station is nearby. Some tunnels are tricky to locate, as they blend in with the environment.
- In Matterspark form, you can charge specific Pylons. This is a core mechanic of Kepler.
- Sometimes these tunnels will be blocked or collapsed. In such cases, you’ll typically need to find a source of Dark Matter to clear the obstruction or unlock the passage through alternative means.
- Throughout Kepler, you’ll encounter Rosetta panels that can be interacted with to open doors, but usually only after defeating a Rosetta Sentry or destroying a Rosetta Pylon.
