Alethonym weapon overview
After seven years, Bungie is finally releasing the second primary grenade launcher, this time in the first slot: the Stasis Alethonym with a Micro-Missile Archetype.
It works quite simply: Alethonym final blows create floating Vestiges that are attracted to the player from up to ten meters away, and collecting them fills the Vestigial Alchemy Bar. Once you reach 50% energy, you’ll be able to create Special Ammo for you and your teammates by holding the reload button, and once you gain 100%, Heavy Ammo will apperar.
During the Episode: Revenant Showcase, One for All was spotted as a trait on this weapon, so it’s safe to assume that this perk will be part of the Alethonym catalyst.
Should I get Alethonym in Destiny 2?
The answer is pretty evident since obtaining the Alethonym exotic weapon in Destiny 2 isn’t too tricky. Alethonym is definitely worth your attention, as it is currently the only weapon capable of generating ammo for your fireteam. It can be extremely useful in GMs or before damage phases in Dungeons and Raids.
