Retail WoW roadmap 2026: Midnight
2026 is set to be the year of Midnight, with several major dates already confirmed.
- Midnight prepatch is live on January 20
- Twilight Ascension begins January 27
- Midnight goes live on March 2
- Midnight Season 1 starts on March 17
Besides that we’ve finally took a glance what lies beyond Midnight release. Blizzard has already teased us with Midnight Season 2 coming this Summer.
In short, Midnight roadmap 2026 includes:
- Estimated release windows for upcoming Midnight patches, including 12.0.5, 12.0.7, and later updates.
- Season 2 of Midnight is confirmed to launch this summer.
- A new Void Assault feature is planned, likely functioning in a similar way to Legion Invasions.
- Patch 12.0.5 will introduce a new Prop Hunt event.
- Turbulent Timeways is set to return in patches 12.0.7 and 12.1.7.
- A new Delve-style activity, Labyrinth, is coming in patch 12.1.5.
- New 1-boss raids are planned for patches 12.0.7 and 12.1.7.
WoW Midnight raid schedule
Midnight Season 1 will introduce 3 raids, which makes raid scheduling a bit complex. Below is the full Midnight raid release schedule:
Week of March 17:
- Voidspire Raid: Raid Finder Wing 1, Normal, Heroic
- Dreamrift Raid: Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic
- Season 1 Dungeons: Heroic and Mythic
- PvP Season 1 begins
- Bountiful Delves open
Week of March 24:
- Voidspire Raid: Story Mode, Raid Finder Wing 2, Mythic
- Dreamrift Raid: Mythic
- Mythic+ Season 1 begins
Week of March 31:
- March on Quel’Danas Raid: Normal, Heroic, Mythic
- Voidspire Raid: Raid Finder Wing 3
Week of April 7:
- March on Quel’Danas Raid: Story Mode and Raid Finder
Ion also teased us a new 1-boss raid coming in patch 12.0.7, though the details are largely obscure, and we cannot tell when it comes, besides late Spring.

WoW MoP roadmap 2026
Mists of Pandaria Classic remains relevant in 2026. However, the new WoW 2026 roadmap suggests that something new will be revealed at BlizzCon 2026. Phase 4, Escalation, and Phase 5, Siege of Orgrimmar, are now confirmed to conclude in 2026, before autumn.
What comes next after BlizzCon remains unclear. Will Blizzard continue with Warlords of Draenor Classic, or make Classic+? For now, we simply don’t know, only future announcements will give the answers.
WoW Classic Anniversary roadmap 2026: Burning Crusade
The main event of Classic re-releases in 2026 is Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary.

Hidden Classic plus announce
On top of all that, there’s also something highly unconfirmed. Many players have noticed that BlizzCon appears to span across all sections (Midnight, TBC, and MoP Classic). This has once again reignited highly anticipated discussions around Classic+.

If you’re wondering what Classic+ is, in short it’s a community-driven concept of a hypothetical expanded version of WoW Classic, featuring quality-of-life improvements and expanded plateu of content. However, the exact details vary widely, as different players have very different ideas of what Classic+ should look like.
The closest Blizzard has come to this concept so far is Season of Discovery. It introduced the Rune system, new raids and dungeons, and numerous QoL features. It even turned the long-cut Scarlet Crusade raid into fully playable content.
Because of this, some players speculate that alongside retail announcements and a possible Warlords of Draenor Classic reveal, Blizzard could also announce Classic+. That said, Classic+ remains entirely unconfirmed. Beyond a few vague hints, no official announcements have been made so far.
