Xy Trustee’s Gearglider requirements
- Renown 8 with Manaforge Vandals-Manaforge raid renown (this unlocks the Inscription techniques for the new contracts).

These are crafted with Inscription profession, with recipes unlocked at Renown 8 with Manaforge Vandals. They are not soulbound, so you can buy them on the Auction House.
How to get each Cartel Cypher
Enter Manaforge Omega on any difficulty (even LFR). While under the matching cartel’s Deal, go to the locations below and open the cypher container.
Tip
If you can’t see/interact with a cypher: double-check your active Deal and your instance lockout.
1) Cartel Ba Cypher
- Where: After the Plexus Sentinel, take the right-hand path.
- Look on the edge of the platform just before the teleport pad.
2) Cartel Om Cypher
- Where: After Fractillus area, behind the building on a black rock.
3) Cartel Zo Cypher
- Where: After Forgeweaver Araz, by the right mana conduit, behind the mini-boss, a bit further along on a pipe.
Note
The items you loot are Cyphers. You don’t need to keep them — what matters is that you opened each cypher at least once under its own Deal.
Xy Trustee’s Gearglider mount reward
After you’ve opened all three cyphers (each under its matching Deal), go to:
- NPC: Zo’turu, the Renown vendor [42.0, 22.2]
- Location: Camp of Darkness, right outside Manaforge Omega
- Quest: “Somebody Like Me”

- Toy: Cartel Transmorpher (temporarily transforms you into a Cartel Xy broker)
Xy Trustee’s Gearglider checklist
- Reach Renown 8 with the Manaforged Crushers.
- Get three Cartel Deals (crafted by Inscription or bought on the AH):
- Deal: Cartel Ba
- Deal: Cartel Om
- Deal: Cartel Zo
- Under each Deal’s 7-day effect, enter Manaforge Omega (any difficulty, LFR works) and open that cartel’s cypher inside the raid.
- After you’ve triggered all three Cyphers, talk to Zo’turu (Renown vendor) at Camp of Darkness near the raid entrance and pick up “Someone Like Me” to receive:
- Mount: Xy Trustee’s Gearglider
- Done!

Normally you can use one contract per week, so this takes at least 2 weeks + 1 day. Right now players can use all three in one week (likely a bug) and finish patch 11.2 immediately.
Known problems with patch 11.2 secret mount
Patch 11.2 secret mount is known to be buggy, here’s the list of all problems:
- Only one Deal available per week (intended): Deals are weekly-limited use. Under intended rules, finishing all three normally takes 2 weeks + 1 day.
- Current behavior: Players can use all three Deals in the same week and finish instantly. This looks like a bug and could be hotfixed.
- Lockout routing: If you have already defeated Forgeweaver Araz on your current difficulty lockout, you cannot reach the Ba and Zo cyphers on that lockout.
- How to fix: Switch to a different difficulty (including LFR) before killing Araz, or enter on a fresh lockout to grab those two.
- Account-wide flag: The effect of using a Deal applies to all characters on your account for 7 days, so you can use whichever alt is most convenient for raid access.
- Can’t see a cypher?
- Confirm the correct Deal buff is active (Ba/Om/Zo).
- Make sure you’re on a lockout where the cypher is still physically reachable (avoid killing Araz before Ba/Zo).
- Try a different difficulty (LFR/Normal/Heroic/Mythic) to reset routing issues.
- Don’t have Inscription?
- Just buy the Deals: they’re not bound.
- Accidentally deleted an Encrypted Message item?
- No problem. Only the unlock flag from opening the cypher matters.
