Patch 11.0.7 has introduced Cyrce’s Circlet, which needs special Citrine Gems to work. Right now, only four of the twelve gems are available. These gems can be obtained through different in-game events and quests.
Six more gems are still hidden, and players are encouraged to explore to find them. Blizzard also announced that players can transfer already-found gems to alts using Flame-Blessed Iron, the new currency of the patch 11.0.7 content update, but they must discover the remaining gems first.

Cyrce’s Citrine gems
Patch 11.0.7 is now live, and players are diving into the new content, especially the exciting addition of Cyrce’s Circlet. This new item requires special Citrine Gems, which players will need to hunt down and slot into the Circlet to unlock its full potential. However, only some of the Citrine Gems are available.
Only four of the twelve Citrine Gems are confirmed to be obtainable. These four gems are tied to specific activities and events within the game, and while acquiring them is straightforward, not all are available simultaneously. Some gems are tied to weekly quests or rotating events, meaning players will have to wait for specific weeks or activities to unlock additional gems.
The confirmed Citrine Gems currently available are:
- Windsinger’s Runed Citrine: Automatically awarded during the Cyrce’s Circlet tutorial.
- Thunderlord’s Crackling Citrine: Obtained through the Drain Goblin Excavation Event.
- Mariner’s Hallowed Citrine: Found in the Drowned Lair Arathi Excavation Event.
- Roaring War-Queen’s Citrine: A reward from the Legacy of the Vrykul weekly invasion quest.
While these four are currently accessible for 11.0.7, six other Citrine Gems have yet to be discovered. Their sources remain unclear, with some rumored to come from specific events like the Shuddering Hollow Excavation Event. Or, like with Roaring War-Queen’s Citrine, which is given for particular invasion quests. Some players even speculate that some Citrine Gems will become available with Kirin Tor’s delayed plotline. Players are encouraged to explore and share any discoveries they make about these elusive gems.

In a recent announcement, Blizzard revealed that Citrine Gems would be Warbound-until-equipped, allowing players to purchase gems using Flame-Blessed Iron and transfer them to alts. However, this only applies to gems that have already been found, and players will still need to discover others through in-game exploration.
Conclusion
The Cyrce’s Circlet, with its powerful buffs and unique bonuses, such as Warbound-until-equipped gems, has become one of the potential best-in-slot (BiS) pieces of gear for many players in the 11.0.7 update. The Warbound gems, in particular, provide a significant boost, allowing players to activate powerful effects as soon as they equip the ring. Along with other stats and enhancements, Cyrce’s Circlet offers a combination of offensive and defensive advantages, making it an essential item for optimizing performance in both PvE and PvP content.
As more gems are uncovered in future updates, players can look forward to completing their Cyrce’s Circlet and unlocking its powerful effects. For now, the hunt continues for those remaining Citrine Gems!
