Blizzard has confirmed that Mage Tower Artifact appearances will not return in WoW: Legion Remix, keeping these exclusive rewards as a mark of past achievements. While this decision sparked debate, it aligns with Blizzard’s intent to preserve the prestige of limited-time content, similar to Pandaria Remix’s precedent.
Mage Tower Druid forms bug in Legion Remix
However, despite Blizzard’s earlier confirmation that Mage Tower Artifact appearances would remain exclusive, a surprising bug in Legion Remix has temporarily changed that narrative. Reports began surfacing only hours after the event went live, showing that some Druids were unexpectedly unlocking the Werebear and Sparklekitty forms — two of the most iconic and sought-after skins from the original Mage Tower challenges. These appearances seem to carry over to main retail characters outside the Remix event.
The discovery quickly spread across community channels. Druid unlocked both appearances simply by completing the introductory questline and obtaining the new artifact in Dalaran. While not every player can replicate this, multiple confirmations suggest the issue is widespread but inconsistent: some players unlock both forms, others only one, and many receive nothing at all. This bug isn’t limited to just one region: it’s been confirmed to occur on both US and EU servers.
As of now, Blizzard hasn’t announced any corrective action. Players lucky enough to unlock the forms are holding their breath, uncertain whether they’ll get to keep these unexpected rewards or lose them in an incoming patch.
How to get Mage Tower Druid forms in Legion Remix
To get the Mage Tower Druid forms in Legion Remix, simply play your Druid character within the event. Complete the introductory quest and obtain the new artifact weapon in Dalaran, which becomes available starting at level 10.

This method is not considered cheating, and you won’t be banned for doing it. You’re simply playing Legion Remix as a Druid character without exploiting or abusing any game mechanics.
However, this method is not guaranteed to grant you the Mage Tower Druid forms. Some players receive them, while others don’t, making it a random and inconsistent outcome.
Blizzard reaction on Mage Tower bug
Blizzard announced in a recent blue post that they are aware of the bug and will remove the Druid Mage Tower forms obtained by Legion Remix players. Here’s the quote:
“Due to an unexpected bug, Legion Remix launched with a circumstance where druid players could use bear and cat forms that they did not earn.
Please know that we’re working on fixing this (and other bugs), and when we do fix it, we expect that the forms will no longer be usable for players who didn’t earn them.

Unfortunately, there’s no Christmas miracle or surprise gift for players who were hoping for this Druid forms or extra cosmetics. It’s a shame that Blizzard reacts so quickly only when a bug benefits players and brings them some joy. Hopefully, those who originally earned their Mage Tower appearances back when they were officially available won’t lose them after the upcoming bug fix.

Used tank skill? What do you mean by this? I got some of the forms but not the sparkle kitties I don’t think.
the druids specilisation. we did some A and B testing in guild. spec doesnt matter. but we no longer able to get the skins and they wanna remove em from us. sad enough 🙂
