Now let’s get going.
What are Sparks of Radiance

Sparks of Radiance are the main reagents required for crafting higher-ilvl gear in Midnight Season 1. They also act as the primary timegating system for crafted gear, as you typically won’t be able to craft multiple high item level pieces at the start of the Season. You can always check how many Sparks you can still obtain in the Currency tab of your character.
Crafted items are only Crest-efficient when compared to a 1/6 item. If you can easily obtain 2/6 Mythic gear from drops or your Vault, it’s generally not worth spending Myth Crests on crafted pieces. The main exceptions are crafting for Embellishments or using excess Crests for a short-term power increase.

All Sparks of Radiance sources
The most evident way of getting Sparks in Midnight Season 1 is by completing Liadrin’s weekly quest (available in Silvermoon at /way 48.95, 64.95). However, there are other ways to obtain Sparks during the Season. The easiest one is the Spark rewarded from Midnight: World Tour. This quest involves learning about all weekly activities available from the 4 main Renown factions in Midnight Season 1, and it is available to all of your characters.
Completing both the World Tour and Liadrin’s weekly quest is enough to craft 1 piece of gear.
Other sources of Sparks are much more complex and include:
- Doing World PvP quest Sparks of War: Eversong Woods will award you one Spark.
- If you’ve missed a week, you would be able to get one Spark from random Cache from weekly activities.
And that wraps up our article! Blizzard will likely add more ways of getting Sparks in Midnight, so be sure to bookmark this article. If you struggle with getting Crafted gear, you can always rely on WoW gearing boost.
