Table of Contents
Key takeaways:
- All Horrific Visions toys are still obtainable in Patch 11.1.7: While no new toys were added, returning players can collect all original BFA-era toys during Visions runs.
- Each toy is tied to specific in-instance objectives or rare mobs: Players must engage with unique locations or mechanics, such as defeating rares or interacting with hidden objects.
- Persistence pays off for guaranteed drops: Some toys, like the Rotten Apple and Souvenir Totem, can be forced to drop through repeated or strategic runs.
With Patch 11.1.7 in The War Within, players can once again delve into Horrific Visions as part of the Revisited content. While there are no new toys exclusive to this version, all previously available toys from Battle for Azeroth’s Horrific Visions are still obtainable. Here’s a breakdown of these toys and how to collect them.

Horrific Visions toys
Unlike cosmetics and Horrifiv Visions mounts, all of the Toys from Visions can only be found in the instances. Here are all the toys that are available:
Toy | Vision |
---|---|
Coifcurl’s Close Shave Kit | Orgrimmar |
Void-Touched Souvenir Totem | Orgrimmar |
Overly Sensitive Void Spectacles | Stormwind |
Rotten Apple | Stormwind |
Void-Touched Skull | Stormwind |
Note:
None of these Toys actually require you to equip Masks, so if you’re doing a collector’s run, you can complete it without any additional modifiers from Masks.
Coifcurl’s Close Shave Kit

- Location: Vision of Orgrimmar
- How to get it:
- Head toward the Valley of Spirits, but before entering, step into the Barber Shop near the entrance to the Valley of Wisdom. Inside, Bebri Coifcurl will ambush you with an impromptu haircut before fleeing. Loot the kit left behind for the toy by clicking on the box.
- Effect: Places a shave kit that gives players a temporary pixie cut.
- Coordinates: [40.5, 60.5]
Overly Sensitive Void Spectacles

- Location: Vision of Stormwind
- How to get it:
- Dropped by the rare mob Craggle Wobbletop, who patrols around the Trade District (but not inside it). Craggle is protected by toy bots, particularly the Tinkered Shieldbot. Use a Toy Train Set to distract Craggle and neutralize the bots before taking him down.
- You can purchase Toy Train Set from Clockwork Assistant in Dornogal [55.8, 26.4].
- Effect: Transforms all critters and companion pets into grotesque fleshbeasts for 10 minutes.
Tip:
The Toy Train Set is completely optional for defeating Craggle Wobbletop, but it helps make the fight a bit easier—and it’s also a very easy toy to obtain.
Rotten Apple

- Location: Vision of Stormwind
- How to get it:
- Rewarded from Alleria’s End Chest, but only after building up your drop chance. Throughout the Canals, you’ll find Rotten Apples near dead trees—some are maggot traps, others are spider-disguised. Clicking these increases your chance by 1–2% per apple. Spider apples can be clicked repeatedly, making it possible to guarantee the toy drop after 100 clicks.
- Effect: Drops a rotten apple that players can kick around like a toy.
Coordinates for Rotten Trees:
- [57.0, 55.0]
- [60.0, 58.0]
- [65.0, 62.0]
- [72.0, 67.0]
- [67.0, 51.0]
Void-Touched Skull

- Location: Vision of Stormwind
- How to get it:
- Look behind the orphanage in the Cathedral District near the corrupted orphans. The skull is hard to spot as it doesn’t highlight when hovered over.
- Effect: Initiates a “hot potato” game with another player; the toy explodes on whoever is left holding it.
Coordinates: [58.9, 52.9]
Void-Touched Souvenir Totem
- Location: Vision of Orgrimmar
- How to get it:
- Randomly drops from Zekhan’s End Chest, earned by completing the Valley of Spirits wing.
- Effect: Summons a corrupted totem that enlarges and enrages nearby critters.
Tip:
You can guarantee this toy drops by repeatedly running the Vision of Orgrimmar and completing the Valley of Spirits objective each time.
Conclusion
These toys are a fun side objective for completionists and collectors revisiting Horrific Visions. Even though no new toys were added in Patch 11.1.5, now’s a great time to grab any you may have missed the first time around!
