Great Vault requirements for Delves are getting reduced
Blizzard announced Great Vault requirements reduction for Delves and World Activities.
Great Vault is a very efficient way to improve your gear situation above normal activities. Less randomness to your stats is always lovely. But with Delves now being added to the game, players were not happy to see the amount of completed Delves and World Activities they needed to achieve.
What are Great Vault rewards
Great Vault is a weekly reward chest that acknowledges players for defeating Raid bosses, completing Mythic, Heroic, Timewalking dungeons, Delves, and World Activities. Item level (ilvl) of rewards depends on the difficulty of completed objectives, raising up to 623 ilvl.
If you find all of the awards presented unnecessary or likable, you can get Alagari Token of Merit instead. These tokens are used to purchase rare goods from Ardgaz. This NPC stands next to the Great Vault and sells Chest of Gold, Triumphant Satchel of Carved Harbinger Crests, Nerubian Gemweaver, Celebratory Pack of Runed Harbinger Crests, and Golden Valorstone.
Reduction to Great Vault requirements
The community now can breathe out. Previously, you could only enjoy rewards from Great Vault if you completed 3, 6, and 12 Delves or World Activities. That was quite a significant number, and some players were sure to struggle to spend so much time on them.
Now, after the hotfix, you can get all three items after completing just 2, 4, and 8 such Activities. This is a huge quality-of-life improvement for players with less time and more casual approach. These are hotfixes we definitely want to see more often.
Conclusion
Now, we will face much less of a struggle to complete all Great Vault objectives, even during the least played weeks. Blizzard is definitely moving towards making the game more player-friendly and less time-consuming. We might see even more improvements to the Great Vault system in the future. Seems like developers want us to touch grass more often!
What do you think about these changes? Will this requirement reduction affect you in a good way? Or would you still complete more activities anyway? Let us know in the comments below!
