Sparks of Radiance
In Midnight you are limited in terms of time with your amount to get Sparks of Radiance. Each week you can get another Spark of Radiance from Liadrin weekly quest, which then you can utilise in your crafts. Sparks of Radiance are crucial if you want to get BiS Crafted gear in Midnight, so be mindful of them.
Missives
Missives are reagents created through the Inscription profession that let you choose secondary stats (such as Haste, Mastery, Versatility.) They come in multiple tiers, each offering different levels of customization. For the best results, you’ll want to use Algari Missives with 3 quality level. You can usually find Missives in steady supply at the Auction House.
Here are some examples of Missives:
Crests
To push your crafted gear to even higher ilvl, you are required to get Crests. 100 for each ilvl step, which can be difficult with Myth and Hero Crests.
Embellishments
Embellishments are special effects that either come built into crafted gear or can be added during the crafting process. They provide small bonuses that stack together pretty well when min-maxxing, making them highly valuable upgrades. However, they are limited by the Unique-Equipped: Embellished (2) restriction, which means you can only wear two pieces of Embellished gear at the same time.
You can get all Embellishments from the Auction House.
Maximum craft quality

If you want higher item level gear, it’s essential to request the maximum quality when crafting. The only way to guarantee this is by placing a Personal Order. You can send it to your own alt, a guildmate, or even a stranger you find in LFG.
How to craft 280 ilvl gear

Here is the complete WoW gear crafting guide, showing how to craft 280 ilvl gear and explaining every step.
Step 1 — Choose what to craft
Visit Mar’nah in Silvermoon and choose the gear piece you want to craft.
Here are Crafting Orders NPC coordinates in Silvermoon:
/way #2393 45.0 55.6
Step 2 — Provide Reagents

Get one or two Spark of Radiance for the gear piece.
Get Quality 3 reagents required for your gear piece (alternatively, you can let the crafter provide the reagents, but it will cost more). You can craft the reagents yourself or purchase them from the Auction House.
Step 3 — Provide Optional Reagents

There are three optional reagents you need to obtain in order to craft 280 ilvl gear.
- Customize your best secondary stats with a Quality 2 Missive crafting reagent (crafted by Inscriptionists and available on the Auction House).
- Have enough Crests for your desired ilvl bracket.
- Add a Quality 2 Embellishment with the best effect for your build (available on the Auction House or with various professions).
Step 4 — Make Personal Order and Legendary Quality

The only guaranteed way to craft a 280 item is to make its minimum quality Legendary. This option is only available if you place a Personal Order. If you don’t have a required alt, you can ask your guildmates or simply use LFG.
Step 5 — Wait for your gear piece
Send the request and wait for your order to be completed. You will receive your gear piece in the mailbox.
Note
Tip to your crafters! Most of them would be grateful for 2000 Gold. This is not required ofcourse, but this does provide healthy environment to the game.
