Dragonflight Announced Removal of Conquest and Valor Cap

Less than a minute 0 0

World of Warcraft’s ninth expansion is bringing about significant changes. Most recently, a blue post has confirmed removing the Conquest and Valor cap. It will take effect the week of February 14 following the usual reset. Thus, the removal will remain in place throughout Dragonflight Season 1.

WHAT ARE “CONQUEST” AND “VALOR”?

Conquest and Valor are in-game currencies. They are essential to upgrade equipment obtained from Mythic+ dungeons or PvP activities. Initially, the thresholds on these currencies helped ease the feelings of falling behind in acquiring PvP and Mythic+ items.

WHY DID BLIZZARD GET RID OF IT?

Blizzard wants to let players gear up their alts faster as the season progresses. The developers hope to create a welcoming environment for players returning to the game. The removal is a pleasant change, making catching up and leveling up gear much easier.

It may take some time for you to grind the needed amount to upgrade your items. Nonetheless, this is a great chance to quickly regain your place among the champions of Azeroth.
