All TWW raid shortcuts from skip quests are account-wide!
Since the Anniversary 11.0.5 patch release, skip quests have become account-wide. In The War Within, players can now farm desired bosses on alts with pleasant shortcuts.
Table of Contents
After the Anniversary 11.0.5 patch release, players noticed something during their raid farming adventures: first bosses’ skips became account-wide! Previously, you had to complete a few quests to open shortcuts to other bosses on each character. These bosses’ skip quests are very useful for players who want to farm gear for transmog and mounts from bosses of previous expansions or want to have better access to further bosses in the current raid. There are other types of skips that can be used during alts progression. We took a closer look at them in our The War Within Skips and World Quests for faster alt leveling article.
Previously, Blizzard was experimenting with accountwide raid shortcuts. For example, Battle of Dazar’alor Mythic difficulty shortcut to Jaina Proudmoore boss. But finally, in The War Within, all raid skip quests are now account-wide, meaning if you want more tries on your alts, you do not have to complete them again. Of course, you still must complete them at least once to access shortcuts, but this change significantly improves players’ quality of life.

Community opinion on account-wide raid shortcuts
Even though Blizzard did not mention this change in the Anniversary update articles, this became an unexpected and pleasant surprise for many players. The community is thankful that their boss rushes for collectibles farming has become easier. Account-wide raid skips can be very useful in The War Within the Nerub’ar Palace for more efficient alts gearing.
