- The Anglers
- The August Celestials
- The Black Prince
- Golden Lotus
- The Klaxxi
- The Lorewalkers
- Order of the Cloud Serpent
- Shado-Pan
- The Tillers
Each faction above was introduced with MoP’s launch (patch 5.0) and has its own reputation grind. (Factions added in later patches, like 5.1’s Operation: Shieldwall/Dominance Offensive or 5.2’s Kirin Tor Offensive/Sunreaver Onslaught, are not included.) Below, we detail each launch-day faction.
The Anglers

The Anglers are a faction of fishermen in Pandaria who have banded together to explore the secrets of the deep and catch the biggest fish. Led by the famous angler Nat Pagle, their base is at Anglers Wharf on the southern coast of Krasarang Wilds [68.4, 43.4].
No special attunement is required for this MoP reputation – at level 90 you can head straight to Anglers Wharf and start questing. (There is a short introductory quest chain at Soggy’s Gamble in Dread Wastes that leads you to the Anglers, but it’s not mandatory.)
Daily quests and reputation sources
The Anglers offer 3 quests each day, there are 7 quest givers who give various quests each day.
Questgiver | Reputation | Quests |

The August Celestials

The August Celestials are four Wild God spirits of Pandaria – Chi-Ji, Yu’lon, Niuzao, and Xuen – who defend the sacred temples of Pandaria from the Sha and other evils. The faction consists of these four Celestials and their loyal Pandaren disciples. In game, gaining reputation with the August Celestials means aiding each temple in its time of need.
Note:
To access the August Celestials reputation, players are required to be Revered with the Golden Lotus. Once Revered, quest givers Sage Whiteheart (Alliance) [84.6, 63.6] or Sage Lotusbloom (Horde) [62.6, 23.2] at your faction’s shrine will direct you to the day’s temple.
Daily quests and reputation sources
The first thing you need to do to start getting MoP reputation with the August Celestials is talking to their respective quartermaster in either Shrine of Seven Stars (Alliance) or Shrine of Two Moons (Horde). Each day the sage will give you a quest that will send you to an active temple.
There are four temples in total: Temple of the White Tiger located in Kun-Lai Summit, Cradle of Chi-Ji located in Krasarang Wilds, Temple of the Jade Serpent located in the Jade Forest, and Temple of the Black Ox in Townlong Steppes.
These quest-chains each award 1000 reputation daily. They are: Defense At Niuzao Temple, Challenge At The Temple of the Red Crane, Attack At The Temple of the Jade Serpent, Trial At The Temple of the White Tiger.
Reputation rewards
Quartermaster Sage Whiteheart (Alliance) [84.6, 63.6] or Sage Lotusbloom (Horde) [62.6, 23.2] sell enchant formulas, and equipment.
The Black Prince

The Black Prince is the MoP reputation faction associated with Wrathion, the black dragon prince. Wrathion takes a keen interest in Pandaria and the conflicts embroiling the continent. This reputation is integral to the MoP legendary questline; as you aid Wrathion, you gain favor with the Black Prince.
Daily quests and reputation sources
There are no daily quests or traditional unlocks for this faction – instead, you must progress in Wrathion’s legendary quest. At level 90, you’ll meet Wrathion at the Tavern in the Mists (Veiled Stair) and start the quest The Strength of One’s Foes, which establishes your connection with him.
From there, reputation is gained by completing quest objectives (such as collecting Sigils from raids) and by killing certain mobs (e.g., Hozen, Mogu, Mantid in Pandaria grant Black Prince rep when the quest requires it). You start at Neutral and can reach up to Exalted over the course of the legendary chain.
Reputation rewards
Instead of reputation rewards Wrathion offers rewards based on the patch, here are some of the rewards:

Remember to purchase Grand Commendations at Revered to speed up your grind on alts, and enjoy the journey – Blizzard designed these factions to encourage experiencing Pandaria’s content to the fullest. Good luck on reaching Exalted with MoP factions, and may your days in Pandaria be ever Serene and Harmonious!
