Why choose Tailoring as your profession in WoW Classic Fresh
Just as in any other WoW versions, Tailoring is a solid choice for a crafting profession in WoW Classic Fresh, providing both practical benefits and opportunities for profit. As a Tailor, you can craft your own gear, including items ideal for dungeon runs and pre-raid preparation. This is particularly beneficial for cloth-wearing classes like Mages, Priests, and Warlocks, reducing reliance on the Auction House or other players for equipment. As you level up, you’ll be able to craft better and more valuable items, which can help you earn gold and improve your gear more easily.
Mastering Tailoring also allows you to craft bags, a consistently sought-after item in WoW Classic Fresh. You can create bags for yourself, your alts, your friends, or to sell to other players. Bags are essential for managing inventory space, and no one would say no to a 18-slot bag in WoW Classic.
In addition, Cloth is a widely available material that can be easily gathered without requiring a specific gathering profession. This simplifies maintaining a steady supply of materials for leveling up your Tailoring profession.
The best combo with Tailoring in WoW Classic Fresh
Tailoring is a highly versatile profession that pairs well with any gathering profession, but the best combo with Tailoring Fresh WoW Classic is Enchanting. In addition to being a highly sought-after profession, Enchanting lets you enchant your own cloth creations from Tailoring. You can also disenchant your crafted cloth items to gather materials for leveling Enchanting. With this combo, you can gather, craft, and enhance items, providing multiple ways to quickly earn gold and improve your gear.
Another great option in WoW Fresh Classic is Tailoring and Skinning. This combination lets you craft bags and use leather for certain Tailoring recipes, while also providing a steady income from selling skins.

You can start making Runecloth Bag instead of Runecloth Belt if you are going to sell them at the Auction House. The bags are more expensive to make, but you can get most of your gold back. Make the belts if you don’t want to bother selling that many bags.
You can find where to buy the recipe at the 280-290 part below.
Artisan Tailoring 280 – 290
18x Runecloth Bag – 90 Bolt of Runecloth, 36 Rugged Leather, 18 Rune Thread
Pattern: Runecloth Bag is sold by Qia in Winterspring at Everlook. She is inside the Bank building, in the left corner as soon as you walk in.
It’s a limited supply recipe, so if someone bought it before you, then you have to wait for it to respawn. The restock-time of this recipe seems to be random, it can anything between 5-90 minutes. It’s usually better to just buy it from the Auction House if a lot of people are camping the NPC.
Artisan Tailoring 290 – 300
18x Runecloth Gloves – 72 Bolt of Runecloth, 72 Rugged Leather, 18 Rune Thread
The recipe goes yellow at 290, get enough materials for 18.
Pattern: Runecloth Gloves is also sold by Qia in Winterspring, and it’s also a limited supply recipe.
That’s everything you need to know to master Tailoring in Fresh Classic! We hope that this WoW Classic Fresh Tailoring guide has been useful for you. Happy gaming!
