Why choose Engineering as your profession in WoW Classic Fresh
Engineering is the only profession that directly boosts your combat skills. You can create powerful explosives like Goblin Sapper Charges and Thorium Grenades, which deal with area damage and stun enemies. Battle pets like the Arcanite Dragonling and Gnomish Battle Chicken also provide extra support in raids. In PVP, gadgets like the Hyper-Radiant Flame Reflector and Gyrofreeze Ice Reflector can reflect enemy spells back at them.
Engineering also gives you helpful tools for both raids and exploration. You can build teleporters like the Dimensional Ripper or Ultrasafe Transporter for fast travel. The Force Reactive Disk is a unique shield used by tanks to generate threat in tough battles. Plus, the Field Repair Bot 74A lets you repair gear on the go.
Engineering is a great profession for many DPS classes in PvE, like Hunters, Paladins, Rogues, Shaman, and Warriors, thanks to items like the Gnomish Battle Chicken, Iron Grenade, and Goblin Sapper Charge. Hunters get extra benefits, such as the best ammunition with Thorium Shells, the ability to revive a healer with Jumper Cables after Feign Death, and the option to add scopes like Biznicks 247×128 Accurascope to their ranged weapons. Paladins can use bombs and dynamite for ranged damage since they lack ranged attacks. Gnome classes (Mage, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior) also get a boost with the Gnome Racial Engineering Specialization, which increases Engineering skills by +15.
As you can see there are many benefits in maining Engineering in WoW Fresh Classic.
The best combo with Engineering in WoW Classic Fresh
Engineering works well with Mining because you need a lot of ore for your schematics. However, if you’re focused on optimizing your character, you might choose a different profession with better perks, like Tailoring for a Mage. This is especially true if you have enough gold or an alternate character to handle Mining. Min-maxing allows you to get the most out of your professions and character build. Learning Mining will also lower the amount of gold needed to buy Mining reagents. Even at a High Level it would beneficial as you can always craft more ammunition, grenades, etc. Mining also provides you with extra income.
