WoW Classic Developers Begin SoD Phase 4 Internal Testing
SoD Phase 4 internal testing has begun! It won’t be much longer until fans can continue their discoveries.
Last night, a new build of WoW Classic, version 1.15.3.55009, was uploaded to Blizzard’s internal server, marking a change from Phase 3’s version, 1.15.2.55002. The developers have seemingly begun testing Phase 4 of the Season of Discovery. For SoD lovers, the wait for the fourth phase might be over sooner than you have anticipated!
SoD Phase 4’s launch had been postponed from its original release date to ensure it was fully polished. This delay has led to a decline in active users, marking the lowest numbers seen since the mode’s release:
Nevertheless, according to Senior Game Producer Josh Greenfield, the SoD team remains dedicated to developing and adjusting plans based on fan feedback and lessons learned. In SoD Phase 4, players can expect an increased level cap to 60, new runes to discover, and new activities to enjoy. While specific details are scarce at the moment, the developers have promised to share more information when the time comes.

That’s exactly it. Excited for the new phase but not sure there will be any guild left as everyone has moved on to other games. The delay has honestly been devastating. Right now it’s practically deserted. It’s a shame it was put on the back burner. Let’s hope ppl choose to return.
