New Exotic Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2 Will Be in Episode 2
The recent leak of a new Exotic Pulse Rifle and ornaments by a PlayStation Malaysia employee has puzzled many Destiny 2 fans, but now we have a bit more information about it.
Over the past few days, the D2 community has been pondering over the new Exotic weapon, as some thought it was an ornament, while others believed it to be new weaponry. Liz, a well-known Destiny Leaker, put an end to the speculations by reporting the release of the Exotic Pulse Rifle in Episode 2. Moreover, Liz confirmed the development of new 12-player activities set to be released sometime in the future.
If you’re not aware, Episodes are essentially a new season system that will be introduced in The Final Shape. In them, players will receive new content in the form of Acts every six weeks. So far, three Episodes with three acts each have been confirmed, with the Episode 1 initially set to release in March following the launch of TFS. After a well-known delay, the Episode 1 is now expected to be released in June and the Episode 2 in September-October.
Speculations about the 12-player activities have been ongoing for years. Some speculated about raids, especially after a bug that allowed players to enter raids in groups of 12 people. Others talked about seasonal activities, and some about public events. In any case, it’ll be interesting to see how exactly Bungie will implement them!
