How to get Choir of One in Episode: Echoes Act 3
You can obtain D2 Choir Of One weapon pattern by completing the Encore Exotic Mission, which is available in Episode: Echoes Act 3. To access it, you will need to complete the Story Missions from Acts 1 and 2, which may take some time if you haven’t done so already.

Choir of One Intrinsic Traits and catalysts required preparation
If you want to obtain all the Choir of One catalysts and upgrades, you first need to acquire the weapon and complete the questline for the first week of Act 3. After that, you need to activate the portals located on the left side of the area with flowers and purple lighting. To do this, you have to activate Vex Conflux, and cubes will appear above you. You need to destroy these cubes in a specific order that can be determined by the presence of small white cubes beneath them. Once you destroy the four cubes for the first time, you’ll need to repeat the process, but this time, the cubes will be located above the portals.

How to get Command Frame II for Choir of One
In order to get Command Frame in Destiny 2, you need to activate Vex Conflux, which is located in the location with the first planetary piston. After that, the nearest portal will start working, entering which you will find yourself in a room with four portals. By entering another working portal, you will be transported to the very first location of this Exotic Mission. In it, you have to activate another Conflux and shoot five Vex Objects, which can be found by following the white ray. If you’ve done it in a minute and a half, then you’ll get a Secret Chest with Command Frame II.
How to get Command Frame III for Choir of One
As with the previous Frame, you must activate the Vex Conflux in the location with the first planetary piston. The mechanics will also be similar, as you will have to enter the correct portals to teleport to places marked by a Small Vex Cube. To determine which portal is the correct one, pay attention to the white ray, which should be directed toward the required room. You will find three Big Vex Cubes in the rooms themselves, and you need to shoot the one next to the other Small Cube. After this, the DPS Phase will begin, but when the boss has 66% HP left, it will become Immune, and you will need to repeat the above steps two more times. Once the boss is defeated, a chest will appear with Command Frame and Specimen ID: NES008 (if you picked up the Alert from Failsafe).
Command Frame IV
Once again, head to the same location as for the previous two Command Frames. Don’t be alarmed when you enter the portal and see only two working portals. You’ll need to pass through the left portal again and go to the Encore mission’s starting point. There, a Vex Conflux will be waiting for you to activate. After activating it, a timer will begin, and three Minotaurs will appear, which need to be defeated quickly. If you don’t manage to kill them in one place, they will teleport to different places: one will always be in the center, with the other two on the left and right sides. If you’re worried about running out of time, don’t worry. You can repeat this challenge as many times as needed.

How to get first catalyst for Choir of One: Subsistence
Obtaining the first Choir Of One catalyst in Destiny 2 requires you first to acquire the weapon itself by completing the questline of the first week of Act 3 and receiving the //Choir: Eternal quest from Banshee-44.
Once you have done all the above, head to the Encore exotic mission on Expert difficulty. Before the final boss encounter, a Vex Conflux will appear. Activating it will activate a portal that will lead you to a room with a puzzle where you need to activate specific portals to destroy all the Purple Nodes. To understand where each portal will take you, simply look at the white beam directed at the object above the other portals.
How to get second catalyst for Choir of One: Destabilizing Rounds
Obtaining the Choir of One Destabilizing Rounds catalyst requires receiving the //Choir: Eternal quest from Banshee-44 again.
Obtaining the Destabilizing Rounds catalyst is not easy, as you will find yourself in a maze full of puzzles and enemies. This maze can be accessed by activating the Vex Conflux before the Final Encounter and going through two portals.
How to get third catalyst for Choir of One: Onslaught catalyst
Obtaining the Choir of One Onslaught catalyst in Destiny 2 requires you to once again receive the //Choir: Escalate quest from Banshee-44.
As usual, reach the very end, activate the Vex Conflux before the final boss, and enter the right portal. There, you’ll need to solve a relatively simple puzzle involving using a beam to destroy the domes inside the cube, similar to what you did in the first mission of Episode: Echoes.
First, eliminate two Hydras and wait for a Minotaur and other mobs to spawn at the beginning of the area. A green module will also appear there, which needs to be inserted into the nearest console. Defeat the Minotaur, take its weapon, and stand in the closest circle. Then, shoot the flying square on the right until you hit all the rings inside the cube. After that, you must repeat this action on the other side. If the Minotaur’s weapon runs out of charge, it will respawn in the exact location as the first time.
Once you complete this, a room behind you will open with the second green module. Insert the modules into the central and left consoles in front of the area entrance, then shoot the rings again. Next, move the modules to the opposite sides and hit all the rings once more, allowing the cube to open, along with a chest. You’ll also find Specimen ID: NES009, if you picked up the Alert from Failsafe.
Destiny 2 Choir of One weapon overview
The Choir of One in Destiny 2 is an extremely unique exotic weapon, as it is the first Special Auto Rifle in the game. Its main feature is a unique hip-firing pattern that mimics the shooting style of Vex Wyverns and deals a massive amount of damage. When aiming down sights, Choir Of One fires standard hitscan shots that deal increased Precision Damage. Additionally, Rapid Final Blows cause enemies to explode into a pool of radiolarian fluid, reminiscent of the Echoes weapons Origin Trait.
Like many other craftable exotics, Choir of One auto rifle includes several catalysts to choose from:
- Destabilizing Rounds: Weapon Final Blows make nearby enemies Volatile.
- Onslaught: Increases RPM (Rounds Per Minute) after Weapon Final Blows.
- Subsistence: Weapon Final Blows reload ammo from reserves.
The best choice here is Onslaught, as it directly increases your DPS (Damage Per Second) and allows you to deal with enemies more efficiently. Subsistence is also a good option, especially if you’re dissatisfied with the Reload Speed.
Should I get the Choir of One in Destiny 2?
Choir of One auto rifle in Destiny 2 is a rather unique weapon that performs well even in PvP. Thanks to its unique hip-fire pattern, this auto rifle can be used like a shotgun, killing enemies at close range. In PvE, the Choir of One has excellent DPS and total reserves for special ammo, which will help in both add-clear and boss damage.
