The new Brawl Stars update is filled with a lot of new additions. But the most important thing is of course the highly anticipated SpongeBob collab. The SpongeBob Season adds 5 new skins, a new game mode, and a new currency. Let’s look at all the new stuff coming soon.

Brawl Stars Update: SpongeBob Collab

The new season revolves around the collaboration with SpongeBob. The first thing people will notice before they open the game is a new game icon. But of course, there is more to it than that.

New skins

This season, five skins inspired by the main characters from the SpongeBob show will be released.

The Squidward Mortis skin will be available in the Brawl Pass. This skin will have two color variations as well. The El Primo Sponge Bob skin will be free, while other skins can be bought in the new event shop using the new currency.

New Upgrades

During SpongeBob Season, new SpongeBob-themed upgrades will be available. They provide different buffs for characters in battle. These upgrades have three levels; each level is better than the previous. You can get those upgrades in the same event shop with the new currency.

Some modes will remain without those upgrades, so you can avoid them if you do not like them.

New event store and event currency

Mr. Krabs has opened his store in Starr Park. The store allows you to buy previously mentioned Skins and Upgrades. However, you will also be able to buy much more.

The store will use the new event currency, Krusty Kash. It can be earned by daily logins and winning in different modes.

New event game mode

Jellyfishing is a 3v3 mode where players collect Jellyfish on the map. The team that captures the most Jellyfish wins. To capture a Jellyfish, you pick it up and hold it for 5 seconds. If you die, you lose all the Jellyfish you collected.
