Midnight pre-patch introduces the Twilight Ascension world event, a large-scale invasion of Twilight Highlands by the Twilight’s Blade cult. This event is designed as a catch-up and collection opportunity before the launch of Midnight expansion, offering gear, mounts, pets, cosmetics, and housing decor with minimal entry requirements.

Twilight Ascension event duration
The event runs from January 27 until March 2, 2026.
How to start Twilight Ascension
The event is available from level 10, and all vendors are located at the elven resistance camp in southern Twilight Highlands at /way #241 49.6 81.2.
The pre-patch is unlocked by completing the questline that begins with The Cult Within quest (You can get it through Adventure Journal, or by pressing J). Finishing it grants access to weekly quests, Twilight’s Blade World Quests across the zone, and awards two permanent cosmetics: the Twilight’s Blade Tabard and the title “Definitely Not a Cultist.” All progress and unlocks apply to your entire Warband.
Once unlocked, Twilight Highlands [49.6, 81.2] becomes the main activity hub. You earn Twilight’s Blade Insignia from several sources.
Twilight Ascension guide: Event cycle
The event main currency is Twilight’s Blade Insignia. You earn it from several sources. World Quests award 10 Insignia and rotate every 12 hours. Rare elite ritual events award 1 Insignia per kill and occur every 10 minutes on a fixed rotation. Weekly quests Disrupt the Call and Twilight’s Dawn award 40 Insignia each and can be completed once per week per Warband.
Twilight’s Blade rares are tied to short world events. Each rare begins shielded and requires completing three stages: disrupting the ritual camp, killing three ritualists, and then defeating the exposed rare. There are 18 rares in a fixed order, and killing all of them is required for the Two Minutes to Midnight feat of strength.

At the top of every hour, an Ephemeral Void can spawn during these events. Destroying nearby Disparate Ephemera summons the rare Voice of the Eclipse, which also counts toward the achievement.
Two achievements are tied to the event. Two Minutes to Midnight requires killing every Twilight Ascension rare and rewards the Light-Forged Mechsuit mount. Crunching for Cultists requires winning the Twilight Stratagem mini-game 50 times, which can be played at the camp or via a purchasable toy.
Twilight Ascension rewards
Two vendors handle all rewards. Armorer Kalinovan sells catch-up gear, while Materialist Ophinell sells all cosmetic items. Both are found at the event hub.

The whole roster of rewards will require you to have 475 Insignia in total.
There are two mounts available during the event. Retrained Skyrazor is purchased directly from the vendor, while Light-Forged Mechsuit is earned from the Two Minutes to Midnight achievement.
Three battle pets are sold by the cosmetic vendor: Scruff, Emerald Sporbit, and Rhay’Dahr. All cost 30 Insignia and are account-wide once learned.
The event also provides full catch-up gear for alts. All pieces cost 40 Twilight’s Blade Insignia and are item level 121 Champion 1/8, upgradeable to item level 144. This matches early Manaforge Omega Normal difficulty gear and is also available as rare drops from event bosses.
Note
To fully gear an alt, you’ll need 480 Insignia for a complete armor set, plus an additional 40–80 Insignia depending on whether you equip one or two weapons.
