Patch 12.0.5 is the first minor patch of Midnight that offers even more class tunings, activities, and even some fun modes. Let’s now learn everything coming In Patch 12.0.5 of Midnight.

Voidforge

Wondered why you’ve been collecting all those Nebulous Voidcores for Decimus? Here’s the answer.

The Voidforge is a new gearing system in Midnight that lets you turn those Voidcores into powerful gear. By defeating raid bosses, pushing Mythic+ dungeons, or completing high-end activities like Bountiful Delves and Nightmare Prey Hunts, you’ll earn materials that can be transformed into high-end equipment.

Once you unlock it, you’ll also help Decimus craft the Ascendant Nilhammer, which upgrades your weapons and trinkets even further using Ascendant Voidcores. It’s essentially your path to scaling gear beyond 6/6 Myth ilvl.

Void Assaults

The Void’s forces are fighting among themselves for power, and that spills into Eversong Woods and Zul’Aman with new rotating events.

Void Strikes are smaller, weekly events that pop up in one of the zones. Once you finish one, it shifts to another area, keeping things moving.
After enough Strikes are cleared, a Void Incursion begins (Similar to Special Assignment or Legion Assaults). This is a larger, group-focused scenario that takes multiple players to finish it.

Both are quick, repeatable activities and a solid way to level alts while earning extra rewards.

Ritual Sites

Ritual Sites have a similar system to Expeditions back in BfA, however are not exactly the same. These encounters are designed for 1–5 players, and the higher the difficulty you choose, the better the rewards.

In Ritual Sites, you can customize some of the challenges as you progress through tiers, giving you more control over how tough the encounters get. Completing them also contributes to your Great Vault rewards in the World content row, alongside Delves and Prey.

There will be a separate faction Renown ties to this faction.

Abyss Anglers

Abyss Anglers is a repeatable group event where you dive off the coast of Zul’Aman to hunt exotic fish. You team up with others, spear as many fish as possible, and earn points to unlock rewards and upgrade your diving gear. The better your gear, the deeper you can go, where rarer creatures and better loot await.

Decor Duels

Decor Duels will be a fun-oriented event similar to Prop Hunt modes in other games. Basically you try to hide yourself as a Decor, while Hunter try to find you.
