What is Abundance event

Abundance is a timed event where players defeat special mobs and collect orbs to deposit at shrines for rewards. It has normal repeatable versions and a rotating Abundant Harvest that requires a Shard of Dundun to start. There’s a normal variant you can repeat freely and an Abundant Harvest that rotates zones every 8 hours and requires a Shard of Dundun to start.

The main attraction of Abundance event in Unalloyed Abundance. It is earned exclusively by completing Abundant Harvests and serves as the main currency for Chel the Chip, the Abundance vendor. Each Abundant Harvest can grant up to 900 Unalloyed Abundance. Shards of Dundun, needed to start the Harvest, drop from gathering (including fishing), treasures, rares, and work orders, with a weekly cap of 8 per character. Each character can do up to 8 Harvests per week.
How to complete Abundance event fast

The old meta was to form a raid group and collect as many orbs as possible, but Blizzard nerfed that approach (Although it still effective, just not as much). Now, the best strategy is to interact with each zone’s gimmick: like in Zul’Aman, where skinning provides more Abundance. You’ll get extra bonuses if you focus on your gathering profession, but be ready to spend at least 2 Shards of Dundun per zone.
