WoW Patch 11.2 release date

WoW Patch 11.2 release date is Summer 2025. We expect Patch 11.2 to arrive in mid-August 2025.

It’s unlikely that Patch 11.2 will launch in July, as Patch 11.1.7 and Season 2 will still be relatively fresh, and Mists of Pandaria Classic is scheduled to launch on July 21. Blizzard typically avoids overlapping major releases, so stacking two significant events in the same window seems improbable.

We also don’t expect Patch 11.2 to drop in late August or during the second half of the month. The Midnight expansion will be announced at Gamescom, which runs from August 20 to August 24. By then, players are probably expected to be caught up with the final parts of The War Within storyline ahead of the next expansion reveal.

When TWW Season 3 starts
