Last night, Blizzard and NetEase held a special event for World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary in China. They announced upcoming events and revealed exclusive content for Chinese players, including the new Titan Forged WoW realms.
Let’s break down everything we know about the Titan Forged WoW realms and how they work.
What is Titan Forged realms

Titan Forged: Time realms combine content from Classic WoW, The Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King. Players can level up to 80 and explore Azeroth, Outland, and Northrend as usual.
The twist is that dungeons and raids unlock randomly and are all updated for level 80. So even old content will feel fresh and useful at max level. For example, you can enter The Eye raid with gear from Ulduar, but Kael’thas will still be a tough fight, offering real challenge and updated rewards. This allows players to revisit old raids and dungeons under new conditions.
New WoW Classic realm type in China

Titan Forged Realms are launching in November 2025, but unfortunately, they’re exclusive to Chinese servers for now: there’s no easy way to access them from the US or EU. You can compare it with the 2025 WoW roadmap outside of China.
This isn’t the first time something unique and cool has been released exclusively in China. Just look at the first teleport pet or the Flying Spectral Tiger mount, for example.
Titan Forged realms in US and EU

Blizzard has not yet shared any plans to bring Titan Forged Realms to other regions. However, the announcement is still fresh, and the community hasn’t fully processed the news. If the idea gains strong support from the WoW Classic player base (or if the realms perform exceptionally well in China) there’s a chance Blizzard could consider expanding them globally. This might be a new WoW Classic experiment, possibly inspired by the Season of Discovery servers.
Still, not everyone is excited about this news. Some players see it as just another recycle of old content with minimal changes, aimed at monetizing nostalgia rather than offering something truly new. Others feel that fresh ideas, like Season of Discovery’s Phase 8, roll out too slowly and lack proper developer support. The same could happen with Titan Forged Realms.
