The Molten Core
This completely new SoD Phase 4 Molten Core boss, only accessible on the Molten Heat difficulty, will not drop unique or exclusive loot but will instead drop items available from other Molten Core raid bosses, including Tier 1 Tokens.
Phase 4 SoD Molten Core loot table: Item sets
Each class can obtain its own Tier 1 raid gear, featuring impressive stats, bonuses, and a unique appearance, by turning in Molten Core Tier Tokens, which drop from the bosses. Each gear slot has a corresponding Token, and all classes share certain Token types in Season of Discovery Phase 4:
- Molten Scaled: Paladin, Hunter, Shaman
- Scorched Core: Warrior, Rogue, Druid

Phase 4 SoD Molten Core loot table: Tier 1 Tokens
You can collect Tier 1 Tokens and trade them with Duke Hydraxis, the Molten Core Tier Tokens vendor. You can usually find him near the entrance of the Molten Core raid. However, after defeating Ragnaros on Heat Level 3, he moves into Ragnaros‘ room. It’s recommended that you exchange your Tokens before leaving, as it may be difficult to reach him after clearing the raid.

You can craft two Phase 4 SoD legendary weapons from the following items dropped by Molten Core bosses, such as Golemagg, Ragnaros, Baron Geddon, and Garr:
- Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros: Sulfuron Ingot, Eye of Sulfuras
- Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker: Bindings of the Windseeker (Left), Bindings of the Windseeker (Right)

Phase 4 SoD Molten Core loot table by quests
Shadowflame Skull, The Eye of Divinity, and Ancient Petrified Leaf are items that drop from the Majordomo Executus boss in the Phase 4 SoD Molten Core raid. They are necessary to craft the Shadowflame Sword for Rogues and complete specific WoW epic class quests for Priests and Hunters, rewarding you with the following items:
Priest
- The Balance of Light and Shadow quest rewards you with the Benediction or Anathema weapons.
Hunters
- The Ancient Leaf quest rewards you with the Rhok’delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers and Lok’delar, Stave of the Ancient Keepers weapons, and the Whistle of the Beast trinket.
Rogue
- Combining the Shadowflame Skull with the Implacable Blackguard rewards you with the Shadowflame Sword
