Why Choose Blacksmithing as Your Profession in WoW Classic Fresh?
Blacksmithing is a valuable profession in WoW Classic Fresh for players looking to craft powerful gear and make gold. As a blacksmith, you can craft weapons, plate armor, shields, and enchanting materials. Blacksmithing is especially useful for players who are leveling up and need better gear, as well as those who want to craft end-game equipment like Plate Armor, weapons, and the famous Blacksmithing recipes like the Arcanite Reaper.
Melee specs overall can benefit from Blacksmithing. The Elemental Sharpening Stone is one of the best buffs for melee specs that boost critical damage output. Non-Rogues can benefit from Blacksmithing too. Skeleton Keys provide the ability to open locks on chests and doors, providing you with more loot overall.
Additionally, Blacksmithing allows you to create Elemental Weapons and Mithril or Thorium-based armor, which are essential for high-level content in the game. Crafting materials can also be sold for a good amount of gold in the Auction House, making Blacksmithing a great gold-making profession.

The Best Combo with Blacksmithing in WoW Classic Fresh
Blacksmithing pairs best with Mining as a secondary profession. Mining provides you with the ores required for Blacksmithing, such as Copper, Tin, Iron, Mithril, and Thorium, which are essential for crafting items and leveling your skill. By combining these two professions, you can gather the resources you need to craft items and maximize your efficiency. And let’s not forget about the economy on Bars, which you would buy in large quantities if you have no Mining profession or a Mining alt character.
Another useful combo is Enchanting, as it allows you to enchant your crafted items and increase their value. Having Mining alongside Blacksmithing ensures you always have a steady supply of ores, while Enchanting adds value to your crafted gear, especially at higher levels.
