Valorant Patch 9.10 Regen Shield
A brand-new defensive item, the Regen Shield, is now available in the in-game shop. Designed to provide more tactical depth, the shield absorbs damage before impacting health. It works like a normal shield but has a 25 HP reserve that will regenerate the shield HP. This item is aimed at nerfing spraying as it it will regenerate the shield.

Cypher
The new update is focusing on nerfing Cypher’s ability to dominate the game.
- Trap Wire: a 0.5-second delay before the full wallhack reveal activates has been added. The minimap icons have also been improved to improve the visibility of connected wires.
- Neural Theft (Ultimate): cost was increased from 6 to 7 ultimate points.
Sage
Sage receives buffs to her healing and slowing abilities to improve her impact in high-level play.
- Healing Orb: self-healing was increased from 30 HP to 50 HP, now matching ally healing time (5 seconds).
- Slowing Orb: the dash speed of enemies within the slow zone was reduced by 50%.
- Resurrection (Ultimate): cost was reduced from 8 to 7 ultimate points.
Deadlock
Deadlock’s ultimate now guarantees a kill if the target is not freed from the nanowire cocoon before the timer expires. Visual updates clarify the health of her abilities.
Phoenix
Phoenix gets a rework to emphasize his duelist role with stronger offensive tools and self-sustain.
- Curve Ball: it is now his signature ability with one free charge and a 2-kill reset system.
- Hot Hands: it was moved to a purchasable ability costing 200 credits.
- Blaze: the projectile now passes through walls, like Harbor’s High Tide.
Omen
Omen’s smokes now conform to standard placement rules, reducing their use for one-way setups.
- Dark Cover: smokes can only settle on geometry where players can stand, preventing placement on ornamental surfaces.

Bullet count increased from 13 to 15.
Phantom
The Phantom’s damage profile has been adjusted to eliminate certain inconsistent headshot damage scenarios. It will now deal 39 damage per bullet to targets closer than 20m and 35 damage per bullet to targets further than 20m.
The adjustments will make Phantom more consistent, making it a better alternative to Vandal in competitive scenarios. Those changes will remove the ability for Phantom to not one-shot a target with a headshot.
