It is exciting news for all Mercy mains! Recently, Blizzard released a post that the much-coveted Pink Mercy skin returns to Overwatch 2 on June 25.

Pink Mercy

The Pink Mercy skin is an exclusive reward you can buy via the in-game shop for $14,99 from June 20 to July 8, 2024. Additionally, you can purchase a bundle for $19,99 containing a similar skin called Rose Gold Mercy alongside three pretty avatars, spays, and profile backgrounds. The prices mentioned here are in dollars, so the cost in your local currency might be different if you live outside the US.

Keep in mind that you cannot use Overwatch Coins or other in-game currencies to buy these skins, and you cannot gift them to someone else. Also, you cannot buy the Rose Gold Mercy skin separately from the bundle.

Initially, Blizzard released the Pink Mercy skin for the first time in May 2018 for BCRF, also known as Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization specializing in women’s breast cancer. This campaign was tremendously successful, earning $12,7 million. Just like before, all the money players will donate to get the original Pink Mercy skin and the Rose Gold Mercy bundle will go to BCRF to aid its research efforts.

Thanks to Blizzard releasing two skins at once this time, including one with a bundle, the foundation will have more financial support in studying such a terrible disease as cancer, continuing to rise steadily over time, and millions of women will get great help and a second chance to live.

When the 2018 campaign was over, many players who missed the event went to third-party sites to buy accounts, the prices of which absolutely broke the bank. The OW2 community is still laughing at them, saying that they seemed to use their dog’s college funds to buy this Pink Mercy skin. These jesting remarks intensified when Blizzard announced the campaign’s return at the end of June.

Although the charity event has yet to start, some people are already trying to sell pre-orders for the Pink Mercy skin. Be careful and avoid getting scammed; the only legit method to obtain it alongside the bundle is via the game itself. It is crucial to note that Blizzard strictly forbids buying accounts, and we at WowVendor fully support that policy.

What do you think about Blizzard returning old, exclusive skins? Also, what are your thoughts on the fact that players can now donate to different life-saving foundations like BCRF and get some fancy in-game rewards in return? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments below!
