The fanbase of League of Legends seems to become increasingly interested in the game’s professional cybersport. This might be happening due to better marketing from Riot Games, as the company tries to increase knowledge and interest in esports in League of Legends. For example, they held a Hall of Legends event this summer, concentrating entirely on the T1 professional player Faker. This event featured rewards and a retrospective view of some of the most epic moments in his career. Riot Games said they plan to continue making such events about other outstanding players to attract more players to LoL esports.
