Arrowhead CEO responds to recent Helldivers 2 update

Shams Jorjani finally responds about the new Helldivers update, which players took very negatively.

The Escalation of Freedom update for Helldivers 2 became available to players last Monday and was partially received positively due to some intriguing new additions with high player count on release. However, the nerfs outraged the community, which worsened the gameplay without offering adequate buffs to compensate.

Of course, many players went to the Helldivers 2 Discord server to share their opinions about the update directly with the developers. Shams Jorjani, the current CEO of Arrowhead, responded to one of the questions, which asked what the team thought about Escalation of Freedom and how it was received:

Despite saying that the developers will do everything possible and won’t just rely on words, players are still dissatisfied and upset with the developers’ actions:

We literally went for 400k players to 50k players. Unbelievable. I still can’t believe they don’t understand why we are so upset over these nerfs and the fact that they won’t buff every primary instead.
