Zenless Zone Zero new characters announced for 1.2
Zenless Zone Zero new characters just got announced. Let’s look at their specialization, elements, and kit information available.

Hoyoverse announced 2 Zenless Zone Zero new characters — Caesar King and Burnice White. They belong to the Sons of Calydon faction. We have yet to meet this faction in the story. However, players could already play for other members of this faction Luciana Auxesis Theodoro de Montefio (Lucy) and Piper Wheel. So who are those new characters and what is their role in the game?
Zenless Zone Zero new characters: Caesar King
Caesar King first appeared in the Zenless Zone Zero official release trailer you can see her on the left of this screenshot.
Unfortunately, we haven’t met her in the game yet. This most likely means that 1.2 will feature a storyline related to the Sons of Calydon as Caesar King is the leader of this faction. Lucy her faction member calls her very strong, but she also likes to play jokes on her. Billy the Kid from Cunning Hares also appears to know Caesar, as shown in her announcement post:
Caesar King is an S-rank Physical type character that specializes in defense. Her in-game model was leaked recently too.
As for her kit although we don’t know much about it for now. But we have an old leak of one of her abilities or attacks.
We can expect more leaks about Caesar King after the 1.2 closed beta starts. Her release date is going to happen on September 25, 2024. It is the same day as the expected 1.2 version release.
Zenless Zone Zero new characters: Burnice White
Another member of Sons of Calydon Burnice White was also announced. She appeared in the same trailer as Caesar King. She also hasn’t appeared in any story chapters so far.
Burnice appears to be the Barmen of the faction as she knows how to make good drinks and is a social butterfly.
Burnice White is an S-rank Fire-type character that specializes in Anomaly generation. We don’t know any information about her kit yet. We expect leaks soon following the start of 1.2 CBT. We already have her model, however.
Burnice is expected to be released on October 16, 2024, with the second phase of the 1.2 patch.
Other expected characters
The only other known character from Sons of Calydon Lighter can be announced too. However, some leakers say he is postponed for 1.3. He appears in the trailer as well. Players can also meet him in the game. He can be found on Sixth Street talking to Susie in front of the Box Galaxy shop. He is expected to be the A-rank character.
