Players found The First Descendant loot cave like in Destiny

Do you remember the loot cave from Destiny 2? Now you can find a loot cave in The First Descendant, and the developers have something to say about it!

The First Descendant Loot Cave

In July, The First Descendant fans discovered a loot cave just like in the original Destiny with a lot of loot. It was discovered at the Strategic Outpost in the Fortress, allowing players to farm experience, weapons, materials, gold, and more thanks to the strategy related to one character. If you have Valby and have unlocked an ability called Clean Up, you can skate in this location and destroy enemies infinitely.

Of course, Nexon did not ignore this situation and decided to publish a statement in which they shared two pieces of news for the players. In short, gamers will still be able to farm loot in this cave because although the developers confirmed that such enemy spawns are a coding error, they do not want to ruin the fun for the players. The second piece of news they reported was that other caves in the game would receive the same change as the Strategic Outpost. However, they later retracted this due to a translation error. In reality, the Fortress — Vulgus Strategic Outpost will receive changes regarding the loot to balance it with other locations in the game without blocking it.

The players themselves received this feedback quite positively, but some noted that the developers should pay attention to the economic issue. For example, Gladd, a well-known Destiny and The First Descendant content creator, commented on the situation, explaining why people farm this location:

“The issue here is your gold & XP economy. So many things require gold to be spent in large quantities, with no activities providing enough gold in proportion. Clearing missions & killing bosses don’t reward decent XP. This is why folks farm this outpost. Adjust accordingly.”

– Gladd

What do you think about this situation? Do you view the upcoming changes positively? Do you agree with Gladd’s comment? Tell us in the comments! We would be interested in reading and discussing this with you!
