Diablo Immortal & WoW: Fight the Lich King, become Illidan!
Diablo Immortal receives a huge update inspired by WoW 20th Anniversary. Lich King, Illidan inspired skins, iconic legendary weapons, and more!

On November 13, 2024, Diablo Immortal finally received a massive WoW-inspired update. Players can celebrate World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary even while playing other Blizzard games. This update brought lots of content featuring WoW most iconic figures, weapons, locations, and even mobs! Without further ado, let’s dive into what Blizzard has prepared for us in this Eternal War event.
Challenge the Lich King
In Diablo Immortal & WoW collaboration, players can experience fighting the Lich King in Fallen Citadel (Frozen Tundra). Blizzard has managed to recreate the most native raid experience possible, featuring the most iconic spells like Remorseless and Defile. During this boss fight, some old players shed nostalgic tears due to Tranquilizing Shot mechanic. Thankfully, the most dedicated players won’t have to beg their luck to get Invincible once more.
Get Illidan Stormrage inspired skins
Phantom Market greets players with new Illidan Stormrage inspired skins. The skins have five different variations, changing the size of the wings. The more resonance the player has, the bigger wings Illidari’s skin will have. Every class can get Illidari-inspired weapons regardless of the current cosmetic.
Claim WoW most Legendary weapons
During the Diablo Immortal & WoW collaboration, players will be earning Frozen Boons. These will be used to progress through the Eternal War event, opening new weapon skins resembling World of Warcraft’s most iconic Legendary weapons. Blizzard has something to offer for every class in the game:
- Barbarian – Gorehowl
- Demon Hunter – Thori’dal, the Stars’ Fury
- Wizard – Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian
- Tempest – Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker
- Monk – Fists of the Heavens
- Necromancer – Shadowmourne
- Crusader – Truthguard
- Blood Knight – Remornia
Ashbringer also visits Diablo Immortal, letting players choose between normal and corrupted versions.
Conquer Arathi Basin Battleground
This collaboration brings the new Arathi Basin Battleground to Diablo Immortal. Players can compete in the Conquer ruleset, which heavily reminds flag capturing in the original WoW Battleground. With all the new cosmetics added, it can be hard to tell which game you are playing!
Tame your own Murloc
The first Murloc Invasion bundle draw will reward you with well-known ordinary Murloc. And it is guaranteed that Master Angler Murloc drops after 15 draws. These familiars are one of the most iconic mobs in World of Warcraft, and sounds are included. And if you try fishing with these buddies — you will be warmly surprised!
Earn iconic Fraction banners
During Diablo Immortal & WoW crossover, players can earn iconic Fraction banners: Alliance and Horde. These banners can be unlocked via Eternal War event progression. This means earning Frozen Boons might be your big objective during this patch.
Mourneskull Legendary gem
You can earn a Mourneskull Legendary gem during this Eternal War event. This is a two-star Lich King incpired gem that can be very useful for some of your builds. Be sure to test its bone-chilling winds passive during your Diablo Immortal adventures.
